vogue 🕺🎶

vogue is a contagious rhythm game, you need to follow the beat and make everybody dance to the music.

once you join another dancer, their last move will be added to your musical time, so after every 4 beats they will take over.  with each new member comes increasing difficulty, so planning on the go will be essential.

there is also a scoring system based on how quickly you complete the level, so lower is better. however, please, this is a chill game to relax! no pressure at all. you can, if you wish, hide the score completely.

vogue was made in a weekend for the GMTK 2021 game jam! it was my first jam and honestly it was such a good time. hope you enjoy the game!

controls 🕹

WASD: move.

R: reset current level.

Enter: confirm.

Esc: menu.

accessibility 👁

Esc + C: activate high contrast mode.

Esc + Arrows: change speed.

Esc + S: toggle camera shake.

Esc + H: hide the score.

1 to 9: jump to another level.

technical notes ⚙️

the web build uses webgl 2, it should work on any recent version of chrome or firefox, and derived browsers such as the new edge. safari is not supported since apple still hasn’t implemented support for it. a keyboard is required.
