Early Access Review What is Witch it!? At Its core, it's a classic Game of hide and seek ... With the Difference that you can't hide in, on or behind objects here, but turn right into them. At least as a Witch. You want to be a Wooden Jug? Or maybe a ... Chair? Or better a Candle? All no Problem. As long as one Thing is movable (for example, no Houses), you can "transform" into it. It's even funnier that you can move even further in these Forms. I always think it's great when I see one of the other Witches "shoving" across the Floor as a Pillow "disguised." But such Actions are to be enjoyed with Caution, because on the other Side the Hunters stand with their fat Bug. Your Job is to find the Witches, throw them off with Clumps of Dirt and ultimately kill them (though absolutely family-friendly). The Life energy of the Magic Ladies depends on the object into which they have transformed. For example, as an Apple, you can withstand much less than when you transform into a Hay Bale. But that is actually only fair, because as the latter Object you are also much easier to hit. Is there only the Question now Of how the Hunters should find the Witches if they can turn into any Object? They have different Tools at Their disposal. For me, the Chicken with its distinct Senses has proved to be very helpful and practical. Yes, you read correctly: A Chicken. This one simply throws somewhere and when it is Near a Sorceress, it knocks out (which can be seen from a Circle around the Beast). If the Witch is particularly close, an Exclamation Point appears above the Guy. Now it's time to throw off all the nearby Items and wait for one of them to start screaming and get away ... Rolls tried;) If you're Unlucky, you'll have to wait a few Seconds for a new Chicken to become available. Alternatively, the Hunter (in addition to a 3rd Ability, which I have not yet been able to unlock) can also use a Throwing Hook to pull himself onto the Roofs of the Houses. But why do that? Well, the Witches also have their Special Abilities. One of these allows them to fly for a short Time (even in a transformed state), so they can hide very well in small Corners between the Roof Gables. Alternatively, a "Fake Witch" can be conjured up and steered in the Hope that the Hunters will jump on it and run after the "Double." The Magicians Also have a 3rd Ability, but I do not yet know them. That to the rough Process. You'll be Sweetened with unlockable Disguises, 5 really beautiful Maps, a funny Soundscape and stable Servers, on which you can always find Players at the moment. The Game itself does not run quite smoothly even on my rather potent Gaming Laptop (G751JY with 24GB RAM, a 980m and an i7 4710HQ), but if you readjust the Settings a bit, it floods well (50-60 FPS) and is really Fun. Only a music Background I would like to see. As I have learned in the meantime, the Developers recently added Music to the Main menu, but even within the Rounds that would be desirable. Well, as long as that's still missing, I've been running my own Music on the side;) Finally, I would like to commend the Disc Group. Here you can report Bugs, submit suggestions For Improvement, find Players and you can get up-to-date news about Updates etc. In this Respect, for me, there is Witch it! Almost nothing to complain about and for an EA title it really goes great.
