This is my entry for 2022 GameDev.tv GameJam, developed with Unreal Engine 5. I am not really the creative guy, so I decided to challenge myselfe by remaking an old Flash Game by Sean Cooper (https://www.seantcooper.com/) called Boxhead.
Sadly, time was short, so many topics form my ToDos did not make it in the game, like
- Balanceing
- Scoreing and Highscores
- Own AI Controller
- Decails like Bloodsplatter, Bullettrails
- Unlocks
- More Enemys
- Nice Menus
- Propper Attack Anim for Zombie
BUT it is a runnable Game with many weapons with different functions and a game loop.
So, what can you expect:
- 2 Levels to choose from
- 9 Different Weapons
- Pickups
- Waves of Zombies
- Nostalgia :)
There is a Readme in the Project Files and the Game Files with the Credits. In the Project Files, I had to delete the "P_BackPack_MuzzleFlash" from "Infinity Blade Effects" and the "Anim Starter Pack", both form Epics Marktplace Free Content.
How to play:
Shoot or Place object: Spacebar
Change Placement Position: R
Move: WASD
Menu: ESC
