Olgierd or Man of Glass?

Comment from Runaway13077
I've recently finished Hearts of Stone (yes, 3 years after the release, don't judge me!), and I think it's one of the best Witcher stories. But one question still keeps me from sleeping: who is the true villain here? All my friends think it's Olgierd, and I myself decided not to save him but maybe there's another opinion. I must say that Gaunter is a quite creepy guy who kills people - but comparing to Olgierd, is he bad enough?

So excited about your thoughts, guys!

Gaunter is a steretypical demon who lures people into being bad and then feasts on their sins and sorrows. While Olgierd is a stereotypical man who falls into this trap. So I'd say that Gaunter here is the real villain because he is a depiction of universal evil, while Olgierd is just one of the many not-really-bad guys who took the wrong turn somewhere. Also, this DLC is great and the story is even more so.
