Meh-to-skip until you realize you can turn on "steadycam" in the options. Then it's a blast. Literally because it's super short and every chapter opens with cursing and bullets flying to a comical level. If the first one was depressing and stressful (because you play as Kane and that's who he is), then this one is more of the same but instead it's chaotic and loud and angry (because that's who is Lynch is). Arcade Mode is short and sweet, the soundtrack is eerie and unsettling and sometimes broken up by radio ballads which is jarring but fun, the multiplayer was excellent back when you could find people who wouldn't immediately turn traitor and blow up your headset with racism like a COD lobby, the look and feel of the game in general is unlike anything else and still presents itself as a wholly unique experience that I can easily recommend to people. I remember when the first trailers came out for this and I still love them because they marketed this as a terrifying and claustrophobic "documentary style" game about two washed up, tired psychos caught up in a turf war. Grimy stuff and I wish we'd get more of that kind of Manhunt-style miniDV quality LiveLeak footage in action games. Or in action movies for that matter.
