Kona review
by João Carvalho

Played it just to be able to say I have a platinum Kona (joke in my language).
The game is nothing amazing, but enjoyable.

I really enjoy these types of story-driven exploration games. This reminded me a lot of Kholat for a number of reasons. I was engaged with the story and the mystery of the game the whole time. The game was almost perfect sized, not too small but also not to big to traverse with the vehicles.
«Underrated»
The atmosphere is nice

Review for review in english scroll down//ICEWATCH THROUGH THE WOODS I played through the Game after full release on a long Weekend and can only recommend it. It joins my Collection of games a la "Firewatch" and "Through the Woods" with a Touch of "Kholat" (which I never finished playing, though), with Kona in my Eyes being more technically mature and better than "Through the Woods." What is Kona? -Bissel Simulation, bit Adventure/puzzles, bit mystery, bit Horror, bit survival and of course also a little Walking Simulator, although This is rather inappropriate as you are cruising around a lot in an old Pickup, among other things. Driving is Fun and contributes a lot to the Atmosphere: The Visibility is limited, you have no Idea where You have to go and at Night you have to get out to look at the Map in The Spotlight-but it is not exactly harmless outside. What cracks in the Undergrowth? Friend or Foe-or are it just Your own Steps creaking in the Snow or a life-saving Fire ... apropos Fire: Have I taken the Wood Shaft with Me or do I freeze when I reach the next Oven? Thank God My own Footprints help to find the Way back ... Or do I prefer to follow the Wolf Tracks? ;-) I don't say Anything about the Mystery content as I don't want to spoil. Only so much: Sometimes a Polaroid shows more than the naked Eye can see. I could have spent days exploring the Area. Unfortunately, here, too, is the only Harken for me at the Game: The abrupt, somewhat forced Ending. That certainly had its Reasons. I read that there are 3 more games that are set in the Kona universe and I'm very excited about it. Verdict: 9.5/10 Points-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I've played the game after the full release on a long weekend and can only recommend it.
