I really liked Machinarium and that's why I bought Botanicula. Although I appreciate the game, I find that some graphics are a bit bacls, including certain characters that look more like ink spots. It's a shame because the background screen is beautiful and create a beautiful atmosphere. In addition, we often leave the botanical atmosphere. For a machinarium is much cleaner, more pro. And then it's way too short !! Otherwise it remains very pleasant to play.

After Machinarium, Botanicula! A game I was looking forward to as a fan of Machinarium. We are very easily taken by the dreamlike atmosphere, the simple but pretty graphics, the story all cute, at the clicks that lead us. However, I regret the few incoherences of the world, like finding a fridge and parts of 1, or other ... Machinarium is much more consistent and faithful to his world. Sometimes it seems that the creators have come out of their line. The game is much simpler than Machinarium, it requires little thought. It is played very fast. For all these reasons, that's why I do not put 5 paintings. But it is to do, and live, if only for the psychic side and these 5 little guys so touching.

This game has amazing graphics, though that's not the only reason you need to buy this game! The creators of this game managed to portrait a world inside a world inside a tree, where you actually bond with the tiny little creatures. There is no explanation and you don't need it. Just get a feel for the game and everything is intuitive. This game hooked me up for 4 straight days on end. Love the creativity, the graphics, the storyline, the feel. The only bummer is that the game ends at one point If you feel the same, then also take a look at Samarost and Machinarium from the same creators. Equally amazing! --- This game has unbelievably good graphics, although that is not the only reason why you should buy this game! The makers of this game have succeeded in creating a world in a world in a tree, where you develop a real bond with the creatures that play the leading role (and all others!). There is no explanation for the game and you do not need that either. Spend a few minutes on it and feel how the game works. Everything is intuitive and you can hardly go wrong. I have been addicted to this game for four consecutive days. I think the graphics, the storyline (also credible, crazy enough!), The feeling is great! The only downside is that the game stops once in a while. If you have the same thoughts after playing this game, then buy the games Samarost and Machinarium from the same makers. Equally great!

I love all Amanita's games, and personally think they are the maker of AAA-games among indies (in a good way). Botanicula is no exception.

It is bright, vivid, and fun. It has an unspeakably creative story and manages to entertain you with no words. The gameplay is very meditative with some spots that make your heart bouncing from the emotional pressure.

I also have a more intimate connection to the game, since I heard DVA for the first time playin it. DVA is the Czech duo making an incredible crazy out-of-this-world indie music. In fact, they quickly became on of my most favorite musicians of all time.
