The gameplay is simple as its prequel, but the series never intend to stand out in the area I think. What's more important is the visual, narrative and atmosphere. However, I think this one is more...concrete. So we have a goal, companions, cults as the villain, so mediocre. I prefer the obscure prequel, or it wasn't that good either, I was just too young to understand it
