Rate top gamesHonestly, I'm only giving an 'Exceptional' rating for what the game used to be. I began playing the day that the Beta was released, and it was fantastic up until season 4. At that point, the Epic Games staff began messing with too many lame and unrealistic additions to the game, and it became fantasyland. The building component of the game is ingenious though, and for that it gets a solid 9/10.

Genuinely not a bad game. It's fun to jump in every now and then with friends to see what crazy thing is going on. The game doesn't take itself seriously and so should you. You can have a good time if you just embrace the stupidity.

The thing epic did best with this game is monetization. The gunplay is fine, the building is at least unique within this genre. There are better battle royales, even free ones.
