Having seen his own wife slain and his children taken, former detective Mr. Smith vows to find justice and bring an end to the misery. But, if only it were so simple. From dubious streets and suspicious dwellers, to the pack of smokes in your pocket and the betrayal of your own footsteps, danger infests every corner and crevice. Doubt everything in this trap of a city where death is the only certainty.A NEW STEALTH-HORROR ADVENTURE A nerve-wracking experience of ruthless consequences with only your wits to guide you.
Perfect your plan to infiltrate intricately handcrafted levels and escape with the children.
Stick to the shadows and step carefully. Light and sound can be your allies, and your undoing.
Supplies are limited. From flashlight batteries to bullets, make every item count.
Investigate every nook and cranny to expose the sinister secrets behind the abductions, uncover new areas, and find every child.
Kids will be kids. Stop for too long and they'll fidget and cry, putting both of you in harm's way.
Break for a smoke to save your progress, but be wary of noisy coughing fits, and remember, smoking really does kill.

2Dark reviews and comments

…come comecomeCOMECOMECOME SHHHHHH
A game not to be put in all hands, due to the themes covered. A dark and bloody game. A game... that I could never finish because I'm too bad at it. XD But that I recommend anyway, just for its concept.

A Game i was waiting for, for a long time. I like the artstyle very much and i like the dark story it tells. But as much as it gripped me with its atmosphere, it lost my interest somewhere in the last third. It is pure trial and error! Walk this way, die, walk that way, die. Die die die, until you find the right way. The weapons are pretty useless in the game so most of the time you sneak around avoiding enemies. It becomes really frustrating to me how i managed to rescue dozens of children and noone cares or notices it. All they notice is the poor criminals hat became a victim of my revenge. But for the original graphics and artstyle and for the somewhat risky theme,i give it a thumbs up.

My first Review ever. :) I just bought the Game blind after watching the Trailer. While I'm not particularly adept at Stealth Games, I love Horror settings. I quickly decided to make a Let's Play Project out of it. If you are still undecided, after all, the Game costs €20, you can look past to get an Impression of it. https://youtu.be/YpXH6g1kuqw However, I would like to write briefly about what experiences I have had with the Game so far. I'm still pretty much at the Beginning and even though it's a Top down Pixel Game has captivated me the Atmosphere right away. It is tricky to decide whether you want to take the "brutal" path or try to get past guards etc. unseen. With me, it's probably mostly a Mixture of the two. What is sometimes really annoying is the Fact that you can only take Objects when looking directly at them. So You can't "reach around the Corner" to get into something to go unseen. Also, this Mechanic sometimes reacts somewhat sluggishly. So You sneak through the Worlds and try to save the Children who have been kidnapped and use an old Cliché. The Children follow you when you throw Candy after Them. If you didn't save the Children, you would probably have the Feeling of being a Kidnapper yourself. Nevertheless, the Children begin to cry when you leave them alone in the dark or start screaming when they see a Corpse, for Example, which could turn the Game completely Upside down again, a Kidnapper should hear the Children. So You should always stay on your Guard and always have a Plan B in Mind. :) Conclusion: My Conclusion so far is positive. The Game is very much based on Atmosphere, the Music is really successful in my Opinion and fits very well. Unfortunately, the Mechanics with which you take objects in themselves break the Fun a bit but maybe only I see it that way. As I said, in such Games, not very skillful in such games. Since I don't know how long the Game lasts until you have it through because I'm still in the middle of the inside, I can't tell if I can recommend it at this Price. At the Moment it is 20% cheaper but still. If you're still undecided, watch Some Gameplay videos and get it or wait for the next Sale. I hope my Review was at least a bit Helpful. :)
