First of all, I have to say that I made the Mistake of playing the second Part first. Still, the Game wouldn't have carved me out of the Socks either. At the End, I just clicked away a Lot of the story. The "Dialogues" were just too boring. Furthermore, I was not convinced by the Control system and the Trade-system, which I Believe is not mature. That the Graphics are not the latest, it is clear to me and on the Time of the 2001 Release date this was certainly a wonderful Graphic. The Intelligence of the Opponents wasn't exactly the best either. Why do them swim up and down without attacking me? I thought I would be hostile to those ... After about 12-13 Hours of play (after several Restarts) I had the Game through and have to say ... That I don't recommend this Game. Prefer only the second Part and this only if you just want to delve deeper into the Underwater World of Aqua!!!!

It's a strange World without Air and normal Gravity, but full of terrible Monsters. Nevertheless, instead of the Astronaut Suit, swimming Trunks are enough-and any Earthly citizen can immerse themselves in them: In Oceans. There were Creatures in which glub-eyed Aliens would immediately take Tear. In the Home of the white Shark, the Murderous Crabacks and Devil rays lie mighty Canyons and Mountains, against which even the Mine Planets from Aliens seem harmless. The Deep Sea is still a Mystery to us today-we know less about it than we do about the Moon, for example. Exactly the other way round it is in the submarine game Aquanox by the Mannheim development team Massive Development: Humanity withdrew into the Submarine Centuries ago, the irradiated Surface is 2666 only a distant Memory. In the Ocean lives a Civilization where You make your way through the Combat submarine As Mercenary Emerald Flint (as in the Previous sneak ride).
The Plot begins with a Theft: Someone is stealing Flint'S High-tech submarine, the legendary Succubus. A Friend gives You an old Pot, with which you can at least make ends meet in a makeshift manner. Gradually find out what's going on behind the oceanic Backdrops. A Gang of Pirates do all sorts of strange Things, the genetically engineered Bionites from Sneaking. Also, in the underwater city Of Neopolis, Military and Coup Plotters are playing crazy: The Latter want to bring an old Killer satellite under their Control. By Direct Bombardment of the Earth's Plates, Sea Earthquakes and Volcanic Eruptions threaten. In Short: Aqua needs the Services of Emerald "Dead Eye" Flint more than ever before! And then there is the personal Thing about the Succubus. A wild Ride through the Depths of Aqua thus takes its Course ...
"Only in the Water, in the Abysses of the Deep Sea, you become a Hunter from prey!"
