About

You are Roy Becket, a young pilot with dreams of becoming as skilled as his adoptive father. When a galactic war with an ancient mechanical alien race reaches its boiling point, Roy is forced to spring into action and take control of an otherworldly bipedal war machine in hopes of saving what's left of humanity.
Joining Roy is a young girl who claims to have escaped the clutches of the nefarious aliens. Forever altered through horrible experimentation, she now possesses the very abilities humanity will need to push back the doomsday clock.
Together, they must battle an unrelenting army alone and reunite their shattered family.
The End of All Things is in sight. At the edge of eradication stands Astebreed.Arcade Shooter EvolvedAstebreed takes the classic arcade shooter and breathes new life into it. Using lovingly crafted 3D models, cutting edge particle effects, and tried-and-true Japanese mecha designs, Astebreed delivers an unparalleled atmosphere of beautiful destruction.A Full ArsenalRoy has a considerable arsenal to combat his foes, as well. Armed with the mysterious Lucis device, Roy's mech can shoot from a distance, paint targets for precision homing attacks, and even get close for a killing blow with a powerful blade attack. No enemy shall escape your wrath, no matter where they hide.Dynamically Changing PerspectiveYour enemies are not always ahead of you. Your enemies swarm, fly and intercept, and Astebreed's dynamic perspective always keeps the action in view. Seamlessly switching between vertical, horizontal, and 3D shooter, Astebreed will keep you guessing what your next threat will be, without ever interrupting the action.

Astebreed reviews and comments

This has some fun SHMUP mechanics that outshine the breakneck speed mediocre plot
a nice and cool ride. can be a bit overwhelming if it's your first SHMUP

A very nice game. Sometimes something new in the shoot em up area. The fights are nicely set in scene. Versbous and exciting to the same. For neulinge it could be a bit frustent because of the difficult degree, not for nothing can you say "Bullet Hell Shooter" here, if you get involved in it, you get a very nice game. Clear recommendation for anyone looking for new shoot em up futters

The first Time I play, I made it to The penultimate Chapter without Dying. I had been pleased With Mega and I thought I had the Achievement: "WITHOUT DEATH" already for sure .. From there hardly went ahead, 30 + try to defeat the penultimate Boss and then the last Boss who put one on it again. It was hell! -a Hell of Fun! ;) The Next day I played normal fashion and-without lying-I spent the whole Morning defeating the last two Bosses. It was once again hell on Earth .. But with every Death I died I was able to learn more about the Bosses and thus discover good Tactics and completely new Ways of Playing for me. With 2x Games, my Style of Play has changed 2x Completely. I'm excited for the 3rd Run in hard fashion! Achja who cares: [Spoilers?] You unlock new Mecha with which you can bring in some variety. Astebreed is a sci-fi Shoot ' em up in which you shoot down your Enemies mainly with a Mecha. Everything plays in Space, of course, and the Opponents are a Mix of Spaceships, Mechas as well as other mechanical Devices. Who must be defeated all to save oneself and the World. It has an extremely good Animation as well as Graphics and can score a lot. I haven't noticed much of the Story now, but it hasn't really appealed to me now. Throughout the Game it is possible for the Kills of your Opponents to earn points and at the End of each Stage you get a Statistic about the Score, the Time and other important Details. Pro-Good Control-very nice Animations as well as Graphic Style-Pleasant Combat system-Space, space is simply gorgeous Contra-very short story-slightly hard, even on Easy-little Scope for Discovery Conclusion: Astebreed I have with high Expectations Started playing, but unfortunately I have to say that it didn't even get my Expectations. Sure, it's a good Game and also fun, but not in the Long run. Maybe that's also because I don't have much to do with Shoot ' em up, but I have to honestly say I'm a bit disappointed. Of course, I recommend it further, but for People like me who need a change from time to Time, the Game is rather nothing. Otherwise, Astebreed is and will remain a good Game, which I Think has a lot of Potential, but unfortunately it doesn't show it. At me, Anyway. Points-Story 4.7/10-Characters 5.2/10-Graphics 8.1/10-Gameplay 7.4/10-Music 6.0/10 Score: 6.28/10
