  • realism
The game recreates battles of First World War as realistically as possible - each unit has a personal inventory and weapons, vehicle damage is calculated by the thickness and inclination of armour, guns differ in calibers and available types of shells.
  • Authenticity
Our game recreates the atmosphere of the era of the First World War - uniforms and vehicles were made from sketches and drawings of the time of the World War I, game maps are based on real locations of hostilities. Gas attacks, shrapnel shells, horses, involvement of first tanks and flamethrowers, and many other features of the First World War have been implemented in the game.

The basis of gameplay of the Battle of Empires is management of your infantry squads, organisation of their cooperation and skillful use of the vehicles provided to you. You will have to solve complex tactical problems with different possible outcomes, that can change the course of the mission.
  • Game environment can also be used to your advantage - all objects can be destroyed to create a path for infantry or used as a cover from enemy fire.
  • Co-op
Each story mission is available in cooperative mode - you can fight and complete the missions with three other players (4 including yourself).

The Game itself is not bad, even if some Missions are still buggy. But what the Developers allow is a single Cheekiness, the Whole thing was started a Few Years ago as a Mod for MoW but then it was said that they would make it a Steam Greenlight, but the Campaigns will all be included and now BAM! ... You can pay for the German and the British Campaigns! This is pure Money-making! To the funny Guy who thinks the Developer also want to be paid: Not as a Modder! 75% of the Content was already on Moddb at The time before they decided to throw on the Money press called The Steam Community ... And consciously and with full Intent to remove Content from the Game and sell it as DLC's is the last one! Especially if you specify this Content previously as included in the Game and only remove it when you realize that you earn less Money from the Game than you thought ... And honestly, if you already have to put a Table ONLINE with all available DLC's and other buyable Content, so that the Players don't look at what double buy or something, so there's going to go wrong!

I was excited about the Idea of playing an MOW in the First World War and therefore got the Early Acess immediately. On this, the whole thing also has a good effect at the Beginning, there are Horses, the Cannons, Soldiers and the Equipment that Man of War seem typically authentic. Unfortunately, the Soundscape is deficient, the Vocal Tonation grisly. Graphically, you could also have taken the current Engine from Man Of War Assault Squad 2 or at least AS 1, but the Originals certainly have their Charm too, especially since this Game is not about Graphics. But what really annoys me is the brazen DLC Policy and the Battles. I can play only 2 Factions as Kampange, Germany and Great Britain I have to buy for Money. And not only that, but other Features such as the DLC Tank ARE just cheap Scenarios that make little Reference to the Tactical Feature of the new Tank weapon. The 2 lean Battles are not even Interesting or tactically varied, rather bland and always set up the same. In addition, the Developer is fouring that unique Characters are missing out on a story. But they are so cheaply set to music and lovelirely spoken that it looks more composed and often believable and exciting. Verdict: Too Bad ... A super retro MOW could have been created here in a new Guise But the brazen DLC Rip-off content and the loveless implementation of the singleplayer are so fatal that it doesn't tear out the good Mod Support and the sure Good Multiplayer. More of a Man of War WK 1 Mod for a lot of Money and little Content than a good Full-price Game,
