About

Battle Isle, Advance Wars and Panzer General. Have you ever wondered what games like that would look like today? Well, we did. As a result, we decided to develope Battle Worlds: Kronos.Key Features:
  • Two Single Player Campaigns (~50 hours of gameplay)
  • Single Player Challenge Maps - Test your skills in different combat scenarios and keep track of your progress.
  • Live Multiplayer - Battle your friends live on the internet (cross-platform) or via hot-seat.
  • Asynchronous Multiplayer - Take all the time you need and consider your moves. Similar to "play-by-mail", your round is stored on our server and turned over to your opponent. The system allows you to continue the match anytime and anywhere you want (cross-platform).
  • Online Features - Leagues, chat and - in early 2014 - tournaments.
  • Strong AI - A clever AI that will challenge even experienced commanders.
  • Map Editor - A powerful editor to create your own maps and missions (Windows only).
  • Includes "Trains" DLC - Additional ~15 hours campaign, new units and new multiplayer maps

Battle Worlds: Kronos reviews and comments

BW: K is recommended. For Battle Isle Fans it is recommended under the following Conditions: I am an absolute Battle Isle Fan and therefore I had supported BW: K as Baker and was disappointed at first. BW: K is NOT Battle Isle, it has certain Similarities, but the Game Mechanics are not the same. If you accept this Fact, then it's a really great successful Game. With me this Realization also lasted a few Hours, but I was one of the biggest Critics in the BW: K Forum, today the Game captivates me and I create my own Maps for days. The MapBuilder is not for Casual Craftsers, you really have to go in for many Hours until you understand it and also cope with the Corners and Edges. If you keep that up, then you can create challenging Maps. The creating of the Maps is time-consuming. Animation and Sound are very good and do not annoy even after many Hours, in some Games you already voluntarily push the Animations away. And we're not talking about a multi-million dollar AAA title here. Deduction is available in the B-Note: The Story has unfortunately been treated somewhat Stepmotherly, but I personally am interested in the Strategy more than the Story, so you can cope with it. Multiplayer is also Fun, but with most Maps only 2 or 3 times, I hope for a few more Options, here you unfortunately give away some Potential. For turn-based Strategy Game fans, this is a Mandatory Purchase, for under 20 Euros you can definitely do nothing wrong. Recently there is also a Demo, so you can see for yourself if the Game is for you.

Stand somewhere in the 7th Mission: If I had stopped after the first 2-4 Missions, I would have said, "This is a worthy Battle Isle successor." Now, unfortunately, I made the Mistake and a.) Continue to play and b.) Watcher-viewed the map editor. The map editor undoubtedly fulfills its Purpose-but it gripes me to want to make a Map (for BI3 SDI gabs so ne hack version, which was better!) Graphics in the Game is fine, the Animations then annoy but after a few Hours (you can unplug). Sound is also fine-As I have to say, I didn't buy the Title because of Graphics or Sound. Menuemanagement & GUI-naaja, but it could have been playable but made much more comfortable (E.g. close with ESC current Menu) AI-puhhh, have read a Lot of Reviews beforehand that it should be so hard to crack-definitely not the Case, the Units are very often Just doof rum and let yourself pop off. I think it's good that almost broken enemy units take flight and repair themselves, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed any tragically good or terribly bad ones. The Missions are sometimes very crisp, but this has nothing to do with the "good" AI but much more to do with the Setup and how quickly you learn the Mechanics. Well, Story and Cutscenes (yawn)-but are hurty to me. Also Sausage, wanted good solo/Koop/PVP Action. Cue KOOP, I haven't found-may still be coming? In Point that might still be worth mentioning are the Game settings-at BI3 you could wonderfully change all Sorts of settings-I completely Lack a conclusion Here: 30 Euros is not Worth it in Hindsight, it would buy for about 15 Euros (but I am also a diehard BI Fan) For the Current Prize you get a mediocre (at this Point it must be positively mentioned that in over 13h Season I had no bugs-there you are accustomed To otherwise) well-packaged remake ala Battle Isle/History Line/Tanks General in Hex style with less around the Venerable Champions from the 90s. What I would like:-more cuddleable (Comfort Ablere Menues) e.g. Inviting at sea transport ships, general Menu management, etc.-a little more Unit diversity (is really nous MAU)-KOOP Mode with decent Maps and div Fractions (ala BI3)-a Map Editor where I don't have the Food coming up (People from King Art-we!!! in 2013) Buy Recommendation, well. For Fans who want to experience some Hours of pretty HexFeld Action JAIN For everyone else-not around 30 Euronen, that's just too much so long!
