About

Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword is the second expansion of well-known turn-based strategy video game Civilization IV made by Firaxis Games. It includes 11 new scenarios, 10 new civilizations, and 16 new leaders. The game takes place in the times when gunpowder was invented. This expansion offers features like corporations, espionage, random events, advanced starts, expanded space and diplomatic victory. It also includes much more improved AI, more visually detailed units and new, improved behavior of colonies. This expansion is quite famous for its huge amount of various different mods, official and unofficial. Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword offers a broader gameplay, for example now players have option to play as any leader-civilization combination, also now players can only trade away theirs researched technologies. Once player finds specific religion-founding technology he or she has a right to choose any of the religions.

I don't know what to say... except that I will certainly sting your eyes with my writing more than doubtful. But... the game that is here is for me more than a game... It is literally a religion, pure strategy/management, a pure 4X difficult, complete addictive... and this series has made it a chimney since CIV 1. Civilization... This serie... Incredible... Mistress of the 4X, founder of the genre if they listen to the elders. And CIV 4 is just the accomplicement... the apotheosis... the absolute success of the serie... forget the casual CIV 5, here have a real CIV, real management and combat that will make you rage CERTE but that will make you create army by hundred to conquer the world that you have created with the hundred element of creation. And in addition if you add... the mods... A new dawn... Cave2Cosmos.... The game is just with them.... perfect would be an insult... so much that it is... Legendary... and above all have here the only sound band of the history of the JV OST has received an official title "best instrumental arrangement accompanying vocalist (s).", nothing but that.... Baba Yetu... It's not a test I write but a testimonial, I have this games since it came out... over 10 years ago... a certain amount of time unaccountable on the non steam version and seen that I play offline on steam has many times, I just can not say how much time I put in this game... I conclude this testimony of the best videoludic experience of my life with these words: our father, our, who are in heaven, our, our, Amen! Our father, our, who are glorifying your name give us today our food we need you to forgive us our mistakes, Hey as we forgive those who have hurt us, do not put us in trials, but save us, with him, for centuries of centuries that your Kingdom happens that it is done on Earth as in the heavens (Amen)/Baba Yetu, Yetu security mbinguni Yetu, Yetu Amina! Baba Yetu Yetu security M Jina Lako e litukuzwe. Utupe Leo CHAKULA chetu Tunachohitaji utusamehe Makosa Yetu, Hey! Kama NASI tunavyowasamehe Waliotukosea usitutie katika majaribu, lakini Utuokoe, na Yule, muovu e milele! Ufalme Wako ufike utakalo Lifanyike duniani Kama mbinguni. Amina

Civilization IV: beyond the sword unlike civilization 4 that I had in boxed version, this one is totally new to me, the best extention for me. 1) big changes at the level of the technology Abers and adds 4 or 5 technology (ex flight forward, laser, Superconductor...) New unitated, new building, new faction. Modification of doctrines to associate with new game modes (e.g. espionage, commercial companies.) 2) News Unit (ex mobile artillery, stealth battleship, tactical nuclear missile, attack submarine...) Also, there are 2 types of submarine; the "normal" submarine and attack. The normal submarine corresponds to if they of the 2nd World War, small and having torpedo, it can carry 3 tactical nuclear missiles, while it has no launching hatch (WTF). The attack submarine when you match it to the modern submarine, as seen in American films, or that of modern warfare 2 when it fires an atomic missile (in short you understood its Physics and function.) that when to him possess several nuclear missile launch airlocks, but do not shoot a missile, its function is to be able to stranporter an important person (ex missionary, spy...) and attack the other submarine and warship, while is not its function ... 3) marine soldiers are also strangely implanted... They serve well at the beginning against the artillery and the Gunners (where they have + 50% damage on both.) but become obsolete in the queue of time. The artillery is replaced by missile-launching vehicles and gunners by motorizing infantry. But when to them, the marine soldiers do not evolve, and therefore can no longer counter his new unitated and thus loses their bonus of Degas against them. 4) spies who appear much earlier in the games to the technology of the alphabet, is created as missionaries and send in the cities friends or enemies to see who is treating to the neighbor, with points invested as for the culture or Research. they can carry out mission of sabotage, revolt, robbery, or help convertion in your religion. 5) new scenarios, that of the future to the planets's conquest is the most interesting. Conclusion a very good game that improves the original game and surpasses it. Except he doesn't rule out the submarine function problem, re-calibrating the marine soldier.
