Product received for free first of all this game will not appeal to all for a simple reason its style. This game is not a clicker in itself it is a game that integrates the mechanics of the clicker in its gameplay: for me it is a small adventure game combining clicks and some elements of RPG.
For the record, we embody a lumberjack who apparently wants to avenge his parents by killing a dragon, the latter having decided to burn the Family Pavilion. Haunted by his demons, he will defy all dangers to avenge his family. This is basically what I understood from the script but free to the developers to contradict me.
The concept itself is a good idea: one needs to explore to survive, the principle of color code for the life of trees, the main obstacle to our progression, not to mention atypical enemies that are entanglements of pieces of wood whose structure evolves over the 8 levels of the adventure.
I was talking about RPG elements higher, in fact, the more enemies you kill, the more experience you gain, this translates into a change of weapon, you move from the stick to the fork to finish with a three-blade Scythe.
But what is our mission? During each level our goal is to defend a treasure chest by destroying enemies, which appear every 3 mins at the beginning then every 30 seconds at the last level if we hang too much, and destroy their base in order to move to the next level. Exploration is key to success, in each level you will find Hay boots acting as health upgrades, drinkers that allow you to recover from health in case of hard blow and mannequins to have experience boosts.
The difficulty here lies in the number of clicks per second you need to make to get rid of your opponents up to 8 clicks per seconds, and 10 or 11 to trigger a berserk mode that will help you greatly at the end of the game.
Now going to the points that have complicated me the task: the game is very repetitive does not have a point backup, the backup is effective only when you finish a level and there is only one backup location.
There are no rogue like elements at the end of each area that could make the whole thing more digestible; a small reward system in addition to the level rise would also be welcome and this one would be more interesting if one decides to choose a significant difficulty, only the difficulty makes the game addictive and therefore it is not so addictive as compared to the other clickers.
This game is aimed especially at hardcore fans of clicker or people wanting a challenge and a small that changes the ordinary. In short, a good little experience for clicker enthusiasts and afficionados of tendinitis and mouse destruction.
