Set during the World War II, this isometric tactic game offers the player to lead an Allied commando squad through a series of secret military operations. The game was inspired by war movies like Bridge on the River Kwai and Saving Private Ryan, and some missions are set at the background of the real events shown in this films, such as the Battle of Normandy. There are ten main missions, not counting tutorial, and ten bonus missions are unlocked after you complete the storyline. Most missions require sneaking, camouflaging, and stealth action. The maps are not covered by the fog of war, so you can study them beforehand to thoroughly plan the squad’s movements.
For each mission, you're given a predetermined set of characters. Each member of the squad is named after his or her specialization, such as Sniper, Diver, or Seductress, and has a set of unique abilities and a colorful personality. Spy, for example, can disguise himself as an enemy officer to send the guards away, while Sapper can set and disable landmines. Most characters are from the original Commandos, but there are also new members, such as a sneaky Thief and Whiskey, the squad’s bull terrier. The variety of characters’ skills was also increased to make them more versatile.

Commandos 2: Men of Courage reviews and comments

It'S the best command of all. This game does not deserve negative analysis for incompatibility problems for W98, the games so old, almost all, have this problem. It Has the same essence as the previous two, that makes it perfect, but also now we can play with the camera and interact with the environment. We Can get into ships, airplanes, submarines, houses, barracks... Countless scenarios that are true that has fewer missions than 1, but are much longer and varied. You Can take different paths, more aggressive or passive, to win a game that make it different from the linear of the above. I Love this saga and luckily I got hooked on the strategy as a child.

One of my childhood games that I love the most. After so many years, the game has not aged badly and although it is not a complex game, it is a real work of art. The Ambience in general is wonderful. They Play in favour of this aspect the fact of the great effort that is put in pampering the aesthetics of the game, although it does not possess some exceptional graphics (not to forget that we are talking about a game of 2001); And, on the other hand, Mateo Pascual's incredible soundtrack. On the other hand, it is equally noteworthy the construction of characters, although there is no development of any of them, because it is not a game that develops a story, the protagonists are built in such a way that everyone has a charisma and a Remarkable identity. Finally, the only negative point I can give you is that the levels (and the game in general), do not pose a big challenge, although it is a great entertainment.

Much more complete, complex and with better detection dynamics than Invisible Inc. Infiltration and sabotage Game Set in World War Ii. Stealth Strategy with one of the best hidden character detection systems designed so far. Beautiful graphics, of the most detailed in the History of the Games isometrics with more resolution and many more details and interactivity with the environment that the classic isometrics of role, for example (Baldur Gate, Fallout, Icewind Dale, Arcanum, etc) As It happens with most old Hispanic games, there are problems with translation rights that make Steam not uploaded translated into their original language and even dedicate to deleting links to the translation within their forums or guides, therefore , I can not say directly here where to download the Spanish translation but if it is still circulating around, to look for example more or less recent videos on the Tradu... And some link still works. Pd. Clarified, views the reviews in English of a fanboy of Invisible Inc/Troll (because it has the hidden account... Rather troll): When I speak of higher resolution, I mean the details, no higher screen resolution by default... Obviously, it does not cease to be similar to the games you named. I mean that at the same screen resolution, the sharpness and the level of definition of objects, buildings, etc, is greater than in other isometric games.
