Dark Future

A virus has ravaged  through Clymer city, turning most the population into nightmarish creatures.      Thought to be effect of a synthetic toxin created by a rogue AI system, an assault team was sent in to extract Dr Elizabeth Decker chief architect behind the new smart grid.   Selected as a prime target by the AI a fierce battle ensued on the city streets.  The squad John Cain, Suzanna  Jenson, Steve Finnegan Warhalf and Preacher made a brave last stand against countless swarming virus infected horrors; while they held out for the arrival of an extraction transport.   The team sacrificed themselves acting as decoy so Dr Decker could escape.   Arriving at Sky deck, a self contained facility on the edge of the city, Decker finds herself alone and isolated as the truth and what she experienced is too harrowing for people to comprehend or accept. Determined to figure out what really happened in the city, she realizes there is more to the virus outbreak than first realized...   and is willing to lay everything on the line, as a new terror awaits!
