About

Defender's Quest is a Tower-Defense/RPG Hybrid that focuses on tactical depth, customization, and story. That means no random encounters, no spikey-haired emo kids, no forced time sinks, and no tedious, repetitive battles.
The battle system builds off of tower defense, with individual characters taking the place of towers. Each character levels-up, learns skills, and equips gear individually, allowing the player to customize their battle experience and strategy. The overall game structure is similar to 'tactical' RPG's, but with a real-time battle system. Game speed is adjustable, and commands can even be issued while the game is paused.
It also features an engaging, character-driven story written by an actual English major! The story strives to be fast-paced, snappy, and always relevant to gameplay with minimal exposition. Finally, it's got options and accessibility settings out the wazoo, so that you can have the best possible experience!
Remote Play requires PS Vita system and sufficiently robust Wi-Fi connection.

Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten DX reviews and comments

A great Mix of Tower Defence and RPG. There are different Classes that can be upgraded in Battles, besides the Boost on the Mouth field, the Heroes get stronger over time, so steps rise. Each Character class has its own Talent Tree, you can freely decide with which skills to be good. Thus, you can cleverly place different Heroes on the Board, one slowing one down, the other punching through the Attackers ' Armor so others have enough Time to get those with under tough Creatures done quickly. The background to the pieces of Music is very successful, whether joyful or distressed Moments, the Soundtrack fits. The Story is very nicely written for a Tower Defence Game, is by no means the best, but I really liked this one. Verdict: A very nice Game for In Between, for People who like Tower Defence, but also beyond, worth a Look. By me 09/10 Points
