About

Devil Daggers is a shooter developed by Sorath. This is the only game in the franchise.

Plot

The player aims to survive through attacks by armies of demonic monsters for as long as possible. To survive, the player must defeat enemies or avoid contact with them; as the game goes, the monsters become more. The action is taken on a field shrouded in darkness. As a weapon, the protagonist can fire daggers from fingers.

Gameplay

Devil Daggers is a first-person shooter. As the game starts, the player fetches fire daggers.
Then he is transported to the dark arena, where monsters begin to spawn. The goal is to fight off every appearing enemy. More exotic creatures appear throughout the game; later on, the player can recognize the type of a monster based on the unique noise one makes. There are two alternatives in using the daggers: the protagonist can either fire a shotgun-like blast with a widespread (the player clicks the left mouse button) or fire a continuous stream of them (the player holds the mouse button). The player can die if he touches an enemy, or if he falls off the stage. After that the player can fetch the red crystals dropping from the top of the screen – it lets them upgrade the daggers.

Key features

The game design uses distorted effects like texture warping and polygon jitter. That makes it look like an old shooter game from the 1990s.

an arcade FPS that demands a high level of precision, devil daggers is a lot of fun, but you'll only ever see the same sequence repeated each playthrough. Only a handful of the world's population has passed the 500 second mark. Controls and sound design are well done, but they absolutely need to be in a game like this. Sprite-work is also stellar. If you pick this up, good luck!

Addictive little Piece bewitched Software. My Personal Highlight 2016. If you like to live behind even one Minute longer: Perfect. It's a Level, but who cares if it's the toughest and best of the last Few years, even beyond the shooter market. In itself, these Levels appear to be unscripted, it is a flat square flat grey Surface, but what this Game really knows how to master well is an art that is probably "almost" forgotten In this Way: The Opponent placement. This throws up a mass of types of opponents divided into phases and Types divided with a simple, fair, hellish difficulty, which must be studied and learned. Add to This the Need for fast Reflexes and Movement, croched by a not underestimable fantasy Sound Space Localization, which must be perfected.

You should play the Game if ...:-... You like arcade-heavy Games. -... You like to crack High scores. -... You are looking for a Game for quick Rounds in between. -... You want to improve your Skills with the Input Device of your Choice (mouse & Keyboard, [steel] Controller etc.) for FPS. You should NOT play the Game if ...:-... You put a lot Of emphasis on Graphics. -... You're looking for a Game with Story. -... You unerne die. -... You want to have a lot of Variety in a Game. Review: At first I never really paid my Attention to the Game because it didn't really look appealing from the Overall Package. But then some good Reviews made me stubborn and I searched for games for my slightly more powerful Laptop, which I can play on it without Any problems while sitting in Bed instead of on the PC. ^^ In Any case, I quickly found out that Devil Dagger'S SUPER is to practice his FPS skills with the Steam controller. Grade due to the steadily increasing Degree of difficulty, the Gameplay, which has everything from Movement to forereach and the Motivation to persevere longer and longer, on the one hand, you have this great Training Effect (of course also with Mouse and Keyboard) on the other hand are the Rounds relatively short of how long you can endure, which always stimulates a game in between. Of course, the Graphics are not the hammer but just right To generate optimal Framerates, which is ultra important for Shooters where it is all about speed. The Long-term Motivation is more likely to hang on to the High Scores ... Be it the Global, the One of Friends or just your own which one wants to crack, because You won't necessarily get variety here. Depending on the Game length, 2-3 new Opponents spawn, but that's already the case. So there's not a real Story that's very arcade-heavy. Price is fine for what you get offered, not the Hammer because so small Games that have a similar amount to offer (only vll on other Levels) often cost only 2eur but 5eur you can use without Hesitation for the Playing Time you will have in Devil Daggers. Otherwise, I only have one thing left to wish you a lot of Fun practicing your FPS skills and cracking the High Score! :)
