Five Nights at Freddy's 4
About
This time, the terror has followed you home.
In this last chapter of the Five Nights at Freddy's original story, you must once again defend yourself against Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and even worse things that lurk in the shadows. Playing as a child whose role is yet unknown, you must safeguard yourself until 6am by watching the doors, as well as warding off unwanted creatures that may venture into your closet or onto the bed behind you.
You have only a flashlight to protect yourself. It will scare away things that may be creeping at the far end of the hallways, but be careful, and listen. If something has crept too close, then shining lights in its eyes will be your end.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 reviews and comments

This review was written on March 10, however, I only post it now because I was unable to do it before, this was the case for critics of previous games, this will unfortunately also be the case for the criticism of five nights at Freddy's sister location.
Small introduction: OK... the programming of the characters apparently comes to begin if we believe the new image that Scott revealed to us, he also posted an article on steam informing us of the mechanics of the characters as they are programmed.
And he's already programmed two characters, Golden Freddy and Helpy.
Here are the gameplays of these two characters: Golden Freddy: when it appears after lowering the Tablet, go back there immediately to get rid of it! Watching him too long will finish your game with a disagreeable surprise.
Helpy: it will appear on your desktop randomly when you close the tablet. Get rid of him quickly or he'll get even closer and have fun with an airhorn.
All this is very interesting... We are going to have fun with the custom night, I do not think to watch the other gameplays unless spoilé.
Finally, we are here for one thing, and it is for the criticism of FNaF 4, let's go!
Five nights at Freddy's 4 "the final chapter" was scheduled to go out on October 31, 2015 (an update will be released instead on that date), it was then advanced to August 8 of the same year before finally going out on July 23, 2015 , the game is made by Scott Cawthon alone.
The story of this fourth game is quite complicated to understand, the game is about many debates about the events happening there.
We embody a young boy in his house whose name is unknown in several nights (from night 1 to night 8) and we have to face animatronics that are:-Freddy nightmare-Bonnie's nightmare/Jack-O-Bonnie in the Halloween Edition-Chica nightmare/ Jack-O-Chica in the Halloween Edition-Foxy nightmare/nightmare mangle in the Halloween Edition there are also two other animatronics that appear from the night 5:-nightmare Fredbear (night 5 and 6)-nightmare/Nightmarionne in Halloween Edition (night 7 and 8) the gameplay has completely changed, we can access several places in the room thanks to a mouse click, we have a flashlight, the ability to close doors... But...
The game is played completely to the sound, indeed, if the animatronic are present, they will breathe once we go to the doors, and they must be closed.
And it's slightly "annoying" because if you put the sound at high volume to hear the breaths, the sound of the jumpscare will dismantle the ears.
We also have a sequence of mini-games between the nights that will follow until we lead to an event: "the bite of 1987" or "the bite of 1983" (one of the great debates of FNaF).
And after the usual mini-game, there is a sequence where we have to confront an animatronic in 1V1, if we win, we have an advance of 2 hours on the night after, if we lose, a jumpscare we wait, the enemy is:-Plushtrap/nightmare balloon boy in the Halloween Edition the game has been the victim of many debates:-bite of 87/83?
-The nights are real (especially at the sister location)?
-Why are the teeth of nightmare balloon boy being bugged to each other? (simple personal debate)
But in short, there are plenty of possible challenges on the game that can be combined together:-all nightmare (nightmare/Nightmarionne)-mad Freddy (nightmare Freddy power x999)-insta Foxy (Foxy nightmare from the beginning in the closet)-blind mode (no one sees Nothing) is fear present? Not totally because we expect the jumpscare in fact, if we lose, it's our fault, so we have time to expect the jumpscare, in my opinion it could have been a more terrifying hair.
What I think of the game? Between the good and the disappointing... I have nothing else to say about it... for me it is worth a 5/10, it is not the best FNaF, it is not the best "final chapter". The game is quite... complicated in terms of storytelling and gameplay. For me, the many "slight flaws" of the game (windowed mode/screenshots impossible, textures worries about the characters) show that the game was not fully completed sooner than expected as Scott said, I would be very curious to see the result if the game was actually released on October 31st.
