Please note: Closed BETA is unavailable in Germany due to censorship laws. RAID: World War II is an action-packed four player cooperative shooter set in Europe during World War II, where you and your friends aims to thwart the Nazi onslaught. Four prisoners of war – Sterling, Rivet, Kurgan and Wolfgang have been freed by “Mrs. White,” a secret British Intelligence Operative, who needs someone to take down Hitler and his Third Reich once and for all. Their objective is to fight the war - without rules or mercy. Their reward is all the Nazi gold they can carry. JOHN CLEESE - Comedy legend John Cleese plays Control - a British Intelligence Agent working for Mrs. White. His job is to make sure that you have plenty of Nazis to fight and lots of gold to steal. RAID: World War II is all about teamwork and strategy during intense firefights filled with adrenaline. In RAID: World War II, you are fighting the enemy from within. You are up against tough odds, but with enough fire power, determination and recklessness anything is possible. Fight the good fight, but fight dirty.Key Features CLASSES - Players can choose from four different classes: Recon, Assault, Insurgent, or Demolitions. Each class has their own highly developed Skill Tree, allowing for various play styles. WAR CRIES - Each class has its own War Cry - a powerful ability that can be unleashed to buff yourself or the entire team. For example, if a player activates the War Cry BERSERK, players won’t consume ammo for a limited time - so they’re free to blast away. CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION - Our four heroes are drawn from the main combatants in the European theatre of World War II - Great Britain, USA, Germany and the Soviet Union. Each character has their own look with fully customizable uniforms making you stand out on the battlefield. WEAPON MODIFICATIONS - World War II saw the dawn of a whole lot of new weapons. RAID: World War II allows players to play around with these weapons, upgrade and customize their look and feel with authentic weapon modifications. Players can choose between barrels, stocks, fore grips, optic sights and much more allowing for a vast range of different play styles. OPERATIONS - RAID: World War II offers players the chance to play through extended adventures by undertaking special missions called Operations. Operations is a chained series of highly-modified Raids, featuring new storylines, including content and challenging objectives. The risks are greater, but so are the rewards! CHALLENGE CARDS - RAID: World War II introducers a new feature where players can earn and spend special Challenge Cards. These let players customize the “rules” of a Raid in a buff-debuff way. For example, a Challenge Card might make it so that enemy ammo drops will increase, but at the expense of enemies doing greater damage. Every Challenge Card is different and it’s up to you to find your favorite. LOCATIONS - RAID: World War II takes place in historic locations across war-torn Europe. From the mighty Flakturm dominating the heart of Berlin, to the idyllic Bridge over the river Elbe, players will be bringing destruction to Nazis in every corner of Hitler’s Reich. RAID: World War II Special Edition includes: A special version of the in-game car Apple Red Kübelwagen. RAID: World War II Base game. A RAID: World War II comic book available in-game and as a PDF. A decorative bomb for the camp. Original soundtrack and the melee weapon “marching mace”. A special melee weapon “The Admiral’s Dagger”. Four exclusive special edition jackets. Foreword Many compare this "Game" to Payday ... Absolute Error, in my Opinion. RAID is a completely different Gamesystem/game Mechanicat.Game experience. I had the "Honor" of being able to play this Game in Beta. And as is so customary in Beta (as the Name or word suggests), there are still Bugs, errors and Need for Improvement here and there. You know that and you don't have to be surprised if you don't have the complete Gaming Experience presented. Unfortunately, after the Start of the Beta Phase, it was noticed that we live in Germany ... Keyword Censorship. The Overkill read in a Tweet: "RAID Beta open for EVERYONE" (not the exact Wording) ... Well, not for Everyone if you live in Germany. Since RAID WW2 TAKES place in the 2nd World War you can also see here and there, I say cautiously, historical Symbols and Scenes. The BPjM doesn't like that very much and the Game didn't get Clearance. Same Shi * as every Year. I do not want to start again with the extremely strict Censorship in Germany and I am not a Supporter of such Associations and Parts the Opinion of such people (radical Right-wing associations etc.), BUT, when this Game is precisely about that and The Game advertises, WIESO will be ploughed out in the Full Version all Unconstitutional Symbols of that Time AND even Parts in Intermediate Scenes? Yes properly heard, certain Words are even censored in the Audio Files. Censorship, yes ok forced Measures, but that puts the Crown on the Whole thing. Seriously, who cannot distinguish or separate virtual, digital games from Reality should be sure to be Checked. The very hard and strict Censorship (not to mention gameplay) takes away all The charm of the Game. Before nasty Tongues and Minus People Come around the Corner again and do not understand this Review, here again in Plain language: Right-wing Radicalism-> Absolute No Go! BUT rob a Game of atmosphere is like drinking Coke without Sugar:) I try not to incorporate All my Disappointment rating after Points graphic: 8/10 Points Gameplay: 4/10 Points-Weapon handling, Atmosphere, Story (if there is this here at all), Orders etc. all including very very much need for Improvement Multiplayer: 9/10 Points-didn't notice anything conspicuous after 2 Hours of Play. Due to the low Playing Time No full Evaluation expansion possibility: No Statement can be made Here Funfactor: 4/10 Points Criticism See above at Foreword conclusion Stand eig. Already in the Foreword with:p But I still write a few Sentences. The Overall Package of: Bad Gun handling, chaotic orders, lack of Balance AND the censored Words in Scenes (I still have to chuckle about it) wasn't very exhilarating and engaging. Short and short Of the Bottom line, after 2 hours of Play time (+ Beta: 3 Hours)-> Refund of the purchase amount Overall Rating I give the Game solid 5/10 Points (and since I already had to press all the eyes I have-also the Chicken Eyes) Recommendation: See Foreword ... I believe the Kingdom (t);p Hope I could help you
