About

Dr. Langeskov is a single-player first-person exploration game. It’s a short story, and a linear experience, that attempts to show, what it might be like, to not be a center of a story driven game. Players are led to believe, that they are to embark on a great heist in a mansion with tigers and emeralds involved, but there’s a catch. They WILL play the actual game, but at the moment there’s another player going through the heist, and narrator, voiced by the comedian Simon Amstell, asks the actual player has to wait for their turn. Or help the narrator with some minor tasks, because the entire staff seems to be on strike.
Massively story driven, Dr. Langescov allows really minor interactions, but it’s to be expected from the small complimentary game by the designer of Stanley Parable. Players will be shown the backstage and preparations, that are made in order for people to experience the heist and all inner workings of seemingly interactive experience.

Fun clever conceit

Well I don't know how I got this, but it was a quirky little walking simulator that tried to be humorous but fell a little flat. At least it was really short though!

A short and sweet first game from Williams Pugh's new studio "Crows Crows Crows". You'll get through it in half an hour. It's very funny. Simon Amstell narrates it. Annd it's free. Don't really know why you wouldn't play it. Tip: Once you've retrieved the emerald and got back through the laser corridor, there's a secret passage that lets you exit via the orangery and avoid the tiger. Good luck!

If you have nothing Better to do, you can treat yourself to this Game. Even if it has Trains from The Stanley Parable, it doesn't get close to it by the Way. Ploss Point is the Charm of the Game with its little Secrets. For being free, the Length is ok. Otherwise, it should have been significantly longer. Unfortunately, there are not too many Ways to interact. In addition, I had to start and play the Game several Times to test whether I receive the Achievements, because they seem to be still confused after Years. Iwann hats then works.

Although the Title promises a lot of Suspense, the Game is very quiet. However, this is not a negative Aspect. I installed the Game one Night at about 11Am and played on it and it was the perfect Game for a quiet Evening. The whole Game is Commented on by a very sympathetic Voice, creating a pleasant Atmosphere. Subtitles in German can also be activated. However, you have to get involved with the Game and listen well so it has a Point. By the way, listening to Music is not in it. Plus, the Game is pretty short and you played through it in under a three-quarters of An hour. But the Time invested is also worth it!

However, there are some Difficulties ... No Deus in ex machina. The Workforce responsible for the Stage machine Is on Strike. In addition, someone Already SPIELT is already PLAY "Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist." But how good that you're there and you can help out something ... Only... Can you tame your Curiosity? The Game accompanies you backstage of the Video Game for a short Time and shows the Wonders of The technique what constitutes such a Game. ;-) The Graphics are 1A lovingly and in detail. No Leaf is undescribed and contains ... Now... Lore. The Soundscape is really great and contributes a damn big Part to making everything seem more buoyant. The Narrator is Class and reminds with the Style a little of Kevan Brighting (The Stanley Parable). At this point I would write a review now, but it is enough for me first to help out behind the scenes, then I could not play the actual game, should write a team review and now they want me to prepare the explosives and fire Without instruction or safety equipment makes it good Strobo
