Eradicator reviews and comments

Aaaaah, another Game that arouses absolutely nostalgic Feelings. Back then, I was still playing that on my 368s. I feel, and this is meant positively, transported back to that Time. Hardly anyone knows this Game and it cost me real mega trouble to find this Game at the Flea Market at the Time, as I initially only had the demo version. Now I can play the Game up and down, just like I was then. Hach yes ... < 3

Eradicator is not known but deserves to be interested. The universe is dramatic, intensified by a quality soundtrack. The weapons are, however, not very charismatic, just like the enemies. Beware, it's a little bit of a game sometimes asking for a minimum of reflection in order to finish several of its levels. Many decorations can be destroyed, the possibility of remote control of enemies is one of the specificities of this title. I recommend!

Never heard of this one before ... I was quite surprised to discover it on steam and to read around the internet that it actually was quite good. Well ... what can I say ... this game doesn't really have any impressive or innovative concept going for it (except the tps view and in someway the three characters available though this feature is shared by Hexen), it's just done the right way. I only played it for 1h right now, haven't seen much, but the few levels I played through were quite good. As it is it almost feels like discovering Duke Nukem once again, yep, the exact way shadow warrior should have felt if it hadn't been damn frustrating. My guess is that it'll mostly appeal to nostalgic players (like me) who will also have missed this one out back in the days, but man, even for newcomers fed with modern shooters this one is worth trying. Once the controls are properly set it's damn smooth and fast ... too bad the platforming elements feel a bit messy but except for that it really has a solid and addictive gameplay on par with modern standards. Man, on gameplay level this one feels like it just came out, seriously, and it predates for several years excellent old school FPS like Exhumed, this one really had a clumsy gameplay in comparison. Life is unfair. This modern gameplay mixed up with old fashioned level design make it a pleasant and fresh experience (for what I've seen) but I suppose that, back then, it seriously suffered from a lack of personnality (it still does). The cat girl is cool and has a nice♥♥♥♥♥to make the TPS view worthwhile but except for that the graphics and the atmosphere feels uninspired compared to most famous titles. Too bad ... but let's forget Duke etc... and give this one the attention it deserves now.
