EverQuest (1999) reviews and comments

Translated by

90% of the negative Reviews listed here show the Ineptitude of today's Gamers-or a false Attitude of expectation. Everquest is "the" MMO game "that has shaped the entire Genre in addition to Ultima Online. There is no Game with so much Attention to Detail so much game content and so much Variety. What distinguishes the (old) Everquest from most of today's Nous is that you have to use your Brain. In this Day and age you will be shown where the Quest Starts and stops (Kill 10 xy or Collect 10 xy and bring it back to me)-awesome Thing! The maximum Level is either achieved in 2 Weeks by Hardcore Gaming or you simply use a Guide 72Hours to max Level!!! -Hurray!!! -.-Due To the many "Simple" Mê (WoW is in the first Place), which now exists and the greater Need to simply sit in front of the Calculator to click wildly on the Mouse and follow the Instructions on the Screen have the Creators (not the Original Development Team from Everquest) decided to jump on the big Train in part. A Lot of Things have unfortunately made the old Everquest Flair disappear-1000s of Players on different Servers. No matter where you were on the road you always had enough People to hang out questen or just to "grinning"-Character Level rise was a lengthy Process-which was not in the Foreground but a By-product of the Questing or the further "Upgrading" of the Character was. It was normal to need several Days (with normal Playing Time) for a Level Climb. I had a Playtime of 124 Days (i.e. 124 * 24 Hours) on My first Character and got to level 57 (at that time the highest level 60)-Not the Lvln was in The Receivables but the joint Questing or Raiding. -If one had died, the Corpse mti remained to the Objects where one had died. If one Managed in a certain Time not to advance to his own Corpse, everything was gone! (Everything loot all objects simple everything ... Mimimi)-You sometimes just walked around the World for hours or to advance a Quest-or you just sat around in the Bazaar playing games of luck with other Players around Platinum .-)) It was a unique Experience during the To have helped create a new Genre in a tailor-made way by this Game. The biggest negative Point I can think of about Everquest is the Time you "have to invest" to be in the middle of it instead of just being there. Anyone who played Everquest In the Early Years knows what I'm talking about. This Game does not deserve to receive negative Reviews about lack of usability Or poor Graphics. This Game is a Classicer!! Occasionally I look at my old Server (which has already been put together several times with other servers) and I still see many old Names that I know from past Times:-) Unfortunately, I lack the necessary Time to play Everquest. Otherwise this Game would be the first choice even though it has existed for almost 20 Years!!
