I have Not managed to make it work with a last generation PC in compatibility mode, or with several tricks to run 32bit systems games in the 64. There's no support to help you Either. You Just throw the money, luckily in my case €2 Therefore, if you have a PC with which you have had problems to start some game of the time (2008), do not bother with this because it is not going to go, and of course not throw your money or even if this offer.
If you manage and put some update to solve these problems as other games have done, I remove the negative and I try. Not In the meantime.

I Bought the game on 31/12/2009 but I haven't been able to play it so far, since Crasheaba or at the beginning or soon played, however, before giving a definitive negative vote, I tried once again to play, and finally, I have succeeded, but only to find me that it is a to see "Decaf" of the Half-Life 2 (but with horrible firing dynamics, very inferior graphics, worse immersion, ambience, history, etc.) where instead of leverage you have an axe (red too), but you will have to break boxes, look for medicine and Munción, and Solve pseudo-puzzles to advance, but that only manages to leave a feeling of being playing a bad copy for Flea market, at least in my case.
In Addition, it is not in Spanish (there is a translation made by the community for texts) and has no subtitles to support if your English domain is not very good (I do not know if there are in other languages), however, being a very lienal shooter and history also not very complex , it can be played without difficulty, only that the immersion will not be good (which for me is essential).
My Final advice is that you DO NOT BUY it, there are better games of the same theme (any half-life for example) and if you do, you realize that what you PURCHASE is an imitation.

And Ben for my part, I was overall positively surprised by this game, so I would put rather a positive evaluation, although, let us hear well, this is not the game of the year.
in positive:-contrary to what I could read, the graphics are not so ugly, far from it (must also see your config, even if the game is far from greedy, there is much worse)!
-for my part, and taking my time, 8h of play is more than I would have thought.
-the weapons, although "classics" are interesting, and there is the effect of recoil on, rather well realistic.
-rather varied environments, we even literally change from planet after a while.
-the AI is not so bad (not the best but better than some current games) and can cause you big damage even in intermediate difficulty the negative:-French translation does not exist, even for subtitles. It's also impossible to pass the cutscenes.
-simple small obstacles can block you, like a big stone for example, that forces you to jump to pass.
-Price = €13.99 I think, unsolded, it's still way too much! Wait until it is sold out to buy it (which I did).
-No real big complicated fights, apart from the final cyborg, and again... > > In conclusion, as much positive as negative for me but a nice game to do once (when it is solded).
