About

A moody tale that combines the intrigue and atmosphere of a Raymond Chandler novel or Humphrey Bogart film with classic point-and-click adventure gameplay, Face Noir follows private eye Jack Del Nero as he’s falsely accused of murdering the man who left a little girl in his protection.

As Jack tries to figure out the identity of the girl and clear his name, the disillusioned detective finds himself up against a city infested with corruption and economic uncertainty. The more he uncovers, the more he discovers about the darker depths of human nature.

Face Noir reviews and comments

Classic Adventure Point & click Set in the America of the ' 30s. The setting is the highlight of this game that easily allows the player to immerse themselves in this typical noir atmosphere. Another element of excellence is the direction behind the dialogues, always well-inspired, especially with regard to the protagonist. Pity only for the non-localization of the sound in Italian since the software house is Italian. The graphics are average, with well-drawn funds that contrast with the close-ups Purtropp too pixelosi. The total duration is around 12 hours mainly linked to the many dialogues present, and not so much for the puzzles, mostly simple and easy to overcome. To conclude is to emphasize the great flaw that the game does not end, leaving the story in suspense right in the climax, and recent news about the sequel do not have... A real shame. Rated 72/100

Playing This game is like reading an old novel by Halliday or to go more here, as read one of the first novels of Connely. A good black police story. With everything you need. Mafia, unexpected events, plot twists, murders, conspiracies, and very well-accomplished characters. The game is not very ambitious and poses a well developed script that tells a very good story that catches and leaves no character untouched. Maybe putting fantastic elements in the end, but they do not clash. If A likes literature, this game comes Perecto, but also. Setting in the 30 in the USA, the environment does not fail and creates a agrdable environment to play. The graphics are nothing of the other world, simple and direct, Neceasrio to play quiet. Maybe something Rusty for the time it was launched, but that's not a bad game at all. I recommend It to those who like the Good Adventures point & click and the Good police

This graphic Adventure is a little gem that all fans of the genre should play. Classic Point and click that more classic you can not but from the beginning to the end will keep you glued to the chair to finish the story narrated and so get to the credits. Game not particularly difficult but that echoes a certain amount of attention during the course because in each scenario there are several hot spots (full of comments always sarcastic result from the character that we are going to move, it is a Private investigator named Jack of The Black) that for some of them will be necessary to be able to continue during the game... Beyond The classic mechanism of the object collection I liked the novelty introduced in the game in some situations in which according to the various observations of the scenarios you will have to concatenate two information to obtain a third that will allow us to continue.. THE plot is really well narrated and engaging and although the characters are all rather framed in the genre noir, the whole thing works great with great gratification for the player. Atmospheric and always pleasant Music, longevity over 10 hours and in general a game that will give you a lot of satisfaction in being played and lived. I Hope there is a sequel, to try absolutely!
