What to say about this game... Let's make it simple!
Good points:-a friendly animated design.
-A simple and effective combat system.
-Customization of weapons and Persos.
Bad points:-not especially beautiful, the textures of the terrain are often quite foul even. Which is quite unfortunate since there are only a few decorations and they always come back.
-Bashing... We kill monsters, almost always the same; the bestiary is quite light. Dirt bags with a lot of uninteresting life. At first it's funny, and in the long run it wears.
-A cliché and boring story. Most of the characters have no depth, and the main story quickly becomes as boring as basher the monster...
In short, a pretty fun game if you like to kill the monster without thinking too much with a boat story, and a good touch of customization. On the other hand, to avoid if we look for advanced gameplay and rich history.

A try a little awkward to have tried to make a "Monster Hunter" like. The movements are a little soft, the decorations poor and repetitive.
But!!!
Aside from that, the game is not bad at all.
We find the emblematic bestiary of the manga, we find the famous equipments of the saga with the characters that go with;)
The small plus compared to the first is the presence of passive skills increasing some blows by giving various effects more or less devastating (eg: the blade-heavy shield allowing to make counter-attacks = = > very difficult to master (from least for me xD) but the damage and survivability level of this weapon are insane >

I will not judge the quality of the game, it is probably well in its genre, but precisely, it is not my style.
Having seen the anime, I was looking forward to cutting out the big monster at everything going in a post-APO world. My problem is that the game is cut in the following way:-the base (Hall-Garden-offices)-missions (history-secondary) basically, we just do the missions, chain them. The mission is to be in an area to kill everything that moves and we too often review the same scenery. Once the mission is over, hop back to the Hall and so on. A mission related to history is the same thing but with small scenes in addition before-during and after the so-called mission...
I'm having trouble with this system, I find it too stripped. I was expecting a staged frame, as in a RPG as I used to and not just, choose a mission in a Hall to find myself in an area already seen and kill the enemies that are there. Then in the long run, it swelled me to see the same enemies again and again in this way.
Let's add to that a capricious camera. I'm far from having seized all the intricacies of the gameplay but I can't get into this game at missions.
It's not for me.
