Here are the controls:

1. Left click the enemies to deal damage, strength upgrade increases your attack.
   
2. Click on the upgrade button to buy upgrades
3. Hire soldiers to deal damage periodically
4. You can Increase the soldiers damage in the upgrades menu
   
5. Lightning bolt is a special ability which will deal a set amount of damage to the enemy
6. Plunderer's instinct will double the gold received from the next enemy
