Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes
About
Grotesque Tactics is a story driven, satirical RPG with a strategic combat system. A party of 10 anti-heroes are fighting in a grotesque world that combines the features and clichés of Western and Asian Strategy RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics, Heroes of Might & Magic and Fire Emblem.
Grotesque Tactics weaves a humorous storyline and plenty of amusing dialogue, poking fun at some of the most successful RPGs, such as Oblivion, Gothic and Lord of the Rings.
To protect the kingdom from the merciless cult "The Dark Church" which has murdered all of the kingdom’s heroes and knights, you will have to hire dubious soldiers and rescue jealous maidens who will follow you into combat as your groupies.

Grotesque Tactics'S strength Is his heretical Humour, which exaggerates fantasy and Role-playing Clichés-a silly Fun for anyone looking to recover from leaden, biercive Fantasy. All Dialogues are set to music (except when the Hero chooses what he asks next). The Speakers have done a good job to live up to the special Charm.
The turn-based Fights possess this strange Mechanic that you can use well to your Advantage. The Game can be played on heavy without great Brain Acrobatics. Nevertheless, you have to pay Special attention to his thinly Clothed Virgins and the other Ladies.

What to consider before starting this Game ... It is older and from today's Point of view has just such its Faults ...
If you look at it in reality, Graphics, Dialogues and Gameplay are really nothing special. But the Game has its own Charm through its clichéd and over-the-top Characters.
The classic RPG/tabletop is taken to the Rails Mightily here.
The Gameplay is simple and quite intuitive.
The Characters are witty and charming-though all of them really exaggerated ^^ However, You have to appreciate this Kind of Humour and must not be bothered by the old Graphics, then this is a really nice Game for in between:) I probably wouldn't pay the full Price anymore, but if it's in The Sale then I definitely recommend it:D

Grotesque Tactics 1-a Lap strategy Title from German Lands with lots of Light and Shade.
Would there be a Thumb to The side that Game would have to get the ...
Outstanding and really well-entertaining is the Humour of the Title. He really made me smile a Few Times, there were some good Jokes. A Character (Holy Avatar) has what It takes to go to the Duke! :-)
Also good I found the Degree of difficulty on "Heavy." While it's a rather simple Lap strategy Game, you had to combine more and more the skills of the Party at the high Level of Difficulty.
This has challenged me well as a Veteran, but for Beginners it will be too difficult-here it will rather play on "Normal" or "Light."
But then why the Thumb to The side?
There would be a slurred Graph, with far too bad Luminous Effects (best turned completely out).
In the Shop to the Game on Steam You can get a good Picture of the Graphics ...
Furthermore, some crashes of the Game plagued me. Once I had to uninstall it completely, then reinstall it so it went again. Luckily, the Saves are in the Cloud. ;-)
Then the Party is too big. You command 10 in the Fights (!) People end up at the Same time. Way too much.
Unfortunately Mass instead of Class ...
But What I really resent the Game: The Cards are recycled again and again and used for new Quests. Almost all Cards are visited twice, one three times! This seems damn like ne Game-time Stretching. You could have made a better Game with Half the game time without recycling ...
Conclusion: Concluded Title that thrives more on humor than the simple lap strategy part. Due to the Negative Points worth about 4 Euros in a fine Sale.
