About

Game detailsHeroes of Arca is a unique blend of a turn-based strategy and RPG with an unorthodox combat system that presents a wide choice of battle tactics for the turn-based games' fans. The game outbounds its genre with its original combat system and can capture both the genre connoisseurs and the unsophisticated players.

Dive into the fantasy world of planet Arca. A fascinating adventure awaits you, during it you will have to find a way of saving the world from a dire threat. Take part in hundreds of battles with various enemies. Enhance skills of your hero. Gather the ancient artifacts. Explore the new lands.StoryArca... The amazing world crafted by the wise ancients that were respectfully called "The Creators". For many years they preserved the planet and helped its inhabitants. But nothing can last forever. Nobody knows the reason, but the honorable Creators had left their masterpiece a thousand years ago. And with their disappearance, nations of Arca wallowed in endless strife and struggle for territory. Flames of war started to roar over the planet.

Humans proved to be the hardiest and fittest to the wars. It was they who formed the backbone of most armies, became the strongest warlords and led the successful raids. Countries under their rule thrived and captured the most pleasant lands.

But even their art of war, honed for centuries, and experience gained in endless battles didn't allow them to protect their homeworld against invasion from the outside. A new force seemed to appear from nowhere. Neither declaring wars nor stating their reasons, the silent legions of faceless men simply wiped out the whole countries on their way. And when the people of Arca had lost faith in their power and their ability to change something...Features

A little Insider tip. Had almost 20 Hours of Fun with it, the End was there a bit quickly, thought it goes even further, but apparently that should only go on in a Successor. What I didn't like like like: Too high a lucky Factor: You just lose a lot of Fights because of Bad luck. If the Opponent has 3 identical symbols several Times in a Fight and gets a Bonus Move as a Result, you can actually restart the Fight. If you are Lucky enough for a Bonus Move, the Fight is actually already won. At the highest Level of difficulty is disabled, so you can't get a Bonus move Yourself, because you can't have three Identical symbols at all. But the Opponent then unfortunately does not have that Limitation. Balancing: The first Island was awesome. Heavy, but very motivating and rewarding when you have managed a Fight after all. And this even though I had only bought it after the first Island was already reduced 2x by Patches in difficulty. Would Have liked to have played it before the first Island became lighter. Then it goes steeply downhill. The second Island has already had many Fights that are far too easy, but some really good BockHeavy With them. The third Island is almost twice the size of the first two combined and has just under three times the number of Opponents. Unfortunately, however, there is nothing left of Balancing. You just run through far too easy Fights and only a Handful of them are really interesting and also challenging. The Challengers, however, give normal XP, but some of the simple ones are almost 10 times. The third Island has clearly simply been clapped lovelessly yet, there is not much Work left in it and the Story (which is hardly there anyway) did not go any further at all. Some Fights are only feasible with the right Tactics, but then very easy. With some Opponents you almost despair until you have found exactly one Tactic with which it becomes very easy. Since there are not many different Opponents and some of them can only be defeated with a certain Tactics, this is also extremely boring again. A little more difference would have been good. So that doesn't just lead a certain Tactic to the Goal. If one has not killed properly it can even happen that you are desperate for example with the first Boss (who is at the End of the second Island), can not manage it at all and thus has to restart, because you can not reset your Skillation. Well that this stood in the Steam Forum And I put a Skill Point in a Skill that only makes sense for this Boss fight. I never used it elsewhere and I would never have killed it if I hadn't known that I absolutely needed it for the Boss. But I had Fun with the Game and I would look forward to a Successor. Only because of the Story that started interesting and then was hardly present, there would still be a lot possible for a Successor.
