Inmates
About
The most frightening thing about Jonathan’s nightmare is that he may not be dreaming...
Inmates is a psychological horror game with puzzle elements in which you must find out the truth behind your confinement and uncover the dark secrets of the run-down prison you find yourself in.
You’ve awoken from a nightmare, Jonathan. But did it truly end? You are in a seedy prison cell and have no clue how you got there. You’re terrified and confused, but you also feel something else: a painful sense of familiarity. You’ve convinced yourself this is all just a bad dream. Unfortunately, according to the voice coming from the old radio, things are not as simple as you’d like them to be.
Delve deep into your psyche while trying to stay sane, in this most disturbing of horror games.

Just boring. I played the Game completely in less than 2 Hours. Most of The time you go (yes go, run there are not) through endlessly acting gears and click on something here and there. The Puzzles are witty and the Story is quite thin. Buy At Most In the Sale! And even then, it's worth a maximum of 1-2 Euros!

A short, very amtospheric Game, the Graphics are fine, the environment plus the Music I already found distressing. It would have been better to install really good Puzzles, they were so easy that they could not even be described as Puzzles. The Story I also thought was okay, all in all I would describe the Game mediocre, so neither good nor bad (the Puzzles outside). Unfortunately, I expected a bit more. Still a Thumbs up when it's in the Sale!

Product received for free Hi, I played INMATES in the Stream because I got it as I gave it. The Game itself looks good, the Graphics are really good for the fact that only one Person has developed the Game. The Story is terrible, bunch contextless Bible verses and Pieces of Paper. One is thrown into the Game without any red thread odder hint to the story. The Controls are hairy and the Puzzles too simple. The only Horror is the Game itself, since the "Horror Elements" consist of bad predictable jumpscares. The only Opponent The Guardian Roy and also the one is scripted, you can't defend yourself in any Way (since it is scripted and belongs to the "story." Most of The time you spend going in slow and collecting Matches.
Conclusion: The Game is completely ridiculous and not to take it seriously I forced myself to play through and also the End was foresbâr and simply boring away.

You can't really take the Game seriously. A Horror Game builds and plays with the Atmosphere and Soundsetting Tensions.
Here one is either confronted with one Shock Moment after another or ebnd with yawning blank.
Unfortunately, the Figure cannot run. With the long journeys you run often it is annoying.
One is forced to complete it when in a Room is a Mystery. If you want to get out of the Room, the Camera always makes such a jerky swivel into the Room and then know what else to do.
If one has lit a Match And looks at a Prison Door through the Fodhole, the Match Is suddenly out!?!?!? Strong Wind Train or something.
If you are in the Game, you can't call the Controllers or Key Assignment again. You have to finish the Game for that. Whether that's important now or not, let's get there first, but every other Game offers this opportunity, why not here?
You don't know when the Game is saving. Seems To be like fixed stages. Had to play a section again a Few times because I had to finish the Game.
If you want Horror, you just don't get it here in the form you want. I clearly advise against this Game.
