Judas (Studio48)

"Judas" is a little First-Person Horror Game. Once again, the Light has fallen out. This is already happening in these Apartment Blocks. So change to the Fuse box and the Burnt-out fuse. No problem. Light goes again. Why is the Door of the Apartment open? Nobody lives there. No one has lived there for a long time ... And already we end up in a murderous Family Abuse story. The Apartment is as small as the Game. In three tiny Rooms, which are only gradually accessible at all, we solve simple search and Collective Puzzles, while again and again something Irritating happens. The whole Game is easy to get through in half an Hour. Without really being buried, however. This is mainly due to the embarrassingly grossful Sound selection. The consists of wildly thrown together shouting, tangle of voices, Narrows ... All that is so common in Horror Games. However, these constantly looped Sounds have nothing, but nothing at all to do with the respective Game Situation. As soon as you realize this, the Soundscape is only ridiculous. Which is a pity, because some Moments have been quite successful, the basic Atmosphere is not poorly chosen, the Story, although jumpy, but not poorly told. Even if the Game Mechanics seem quite slandered. The Approach is not a bad one.
