Mille Bornes has never been a very thinky game but Asmodee has destroyed it with this horrible implementation.
The decisions that existed in the original game (to play or not to play the special cards, to play or not to play the 200) have been deleted. Now the special cards are played automatically and there is no counterpoint in not playing the 200. Essentially it has become a pure luck game with absolutely no decision.
There are tons of games (including Mille Bornes copies) in the App Store better than this thing.
Also, special mention needs to be given to the special maps, because they add... more randomness!! Yeah! If a game where you don’t make any decision needs anything is to have your cards discarded and new cards dealt for no reason at all!
Finally, why does the AI is not even tailored to attack the lead player is beyond me. I have seen it send a hazard to another player not closed to victory just to have the next player winning immediately.
