About

Moss™ is a single-player action-adventure puzzle game and new IP from Polyarc tailor-made for the VR platform. It combines classic components of a great game—such as compelling characters, gripping combat, and captivating world exploration—with the exciting opportunities of virtual reality.
As a special thank you to fans, Polyarc is gifting the full Moss digital soundtrack composed by two-time BAFTA award-winning composer Jason Graves to everyone who has purchased or will purchase Moss by August 17, 2018.
In Moss, players meet Quill, a young mouse with dreams of greatness beyond the confines of her settlement. While exploring the woods, she finds a mysterious Glass Relic and an ancient magic is awakened. With her uncle now in grave danger, Quill must embark on an epic journey—and she needs you there by her side. Together, you'll travel to forgotten realms, solve challenging puzzles, and battle menacing enemies. Alone, no one can conquer what you're up against. But united, you just may defeat even the darkest of villains.GameplayReach into The World of Moss

Enjoy a rich tale of intriguing characters, illustrious artifacts, and legends old and new.Moss SoundtrackJason Graves brings to life the melodic and playful adventure in Moss from the hero Quill’s perspective. Graves accomplishes this by employing small and intimate-sounding instruments composed, arranged, and produced in a pastoral soundscape with enchanting Waltz-esque flair. The soundtrack consists of 11 in-game tracks with more than 57 minutes of music, including the bonus track “Home To Me,” featuring YouTube sensation Malukah.
NOTE: Gamers who purchase Moss by August 17, 2018 will find the free soundtrack in the DLC section of the game as part of the August 3, 2018 game update. Everyone has until August 17, 2018 to download the MP3 files before the soundtrack is removed from the DLC section of Moss.

Moss reviews and comments

Gameplay is just okay - it's mostly adventure and puzzles with a little combat. The gorgeous environments and fluid animations are where it really shines.

Great VR platformer (second best I've played after astrobot rescue mission) : good visuals, fairy-tale setting, simple mechanics, easy going collectibles ,okayish story with a nasty cliffhanger. Hopefully #mossbook2 is longer.

A sugar-sweet VR Experience that you can experience with the little Quill at your Side. You take on the Role of the silent Reader who meets Quill of a little Mice Lady at The beginning of the Story and henceforth live through the Adventure of her Dreams together with her. You constantly play both Quill and the Reader, Quill is moved by the Trackpad in one Hand and actions like jumping and fighting in the other, the Reader is responsible for Enabling her by Intervening in the Environment to advance that to advance. The Control is really very well implemented and can be played fluently within a few Minutes. For Moss it is definitely not necessary to play standing up So it is also possible to wear the VR Glasses longer on the slightly hotter Days. Added on the 09.06.18: I am not quite through yet, but I would still like to go into a few Additional points. Many want a Non-VR version of this Game, yes it would certainly be nice to guide the Heroine on the screen through the magical World and yes surely you could enjoy by switching between Reader and Quill the Story. But as with Games that have been pushed behind a VR Support, I fear that the real Magic that the Game Exudes is lost. I am glad that it has not been delivered with any non-VR Support, not to exclude someone who has none of the Glasses, but that all the Gameplay and graphics have been implemented as a full-fledged Game for VR and there is now this great Title. The Gameplay works, it is a Game that simply leaves the typical VR Elements at The side and thus does not weaken the extreme, just take the running in Skyrim VR. I would like to have Games like Zelda, Diablo or even a Prince of Persia in a similar VR Quality to Moss but should it become a Sales hit it is certainly one of the Titles that opens Doors for many further Games.

Fantastic! An AAA VR Game with wonderful Graphics, smooth Animations, super sound and really clever puzzles. The Story is told between the levels in a cosy Way through a Book that you flip through yourself. The Mix between Puzzles and Combat is outstanding. Super cute, great Atmosphere and beautifully told. Only Criticisms I have ... You can't adjust the Positioning of the Camera in the Game. So it can happen that I have to play partly on the Sofa between my Legs, because I should reach so far down. But I always wear a Pair of trousers, otherwise the open Ring at the controller will still be a Doom. LOL The Control with the Vive controllers can be a bit annoying from time to time if you want to jump to the Point exactly at an Edge across the Precipice. This can be very fiddly in some cases, but most of the time you have to perform such Maneuvers if you want to collect a hidden Scroll. Then the "reward" is managed, of course, also the greatest. Then in the first major "Boss fight" I was again slightly overwhelmed with the Controls because it just doesn't make it to The point of what it should. Above all, you should make sure that the Vive controllers are calibrated if you want to play Moss. Sometimes it can happen with the controllers that they react too sensitively (trigger it before the Finger touches the trackpad ... Or there are dead Zones), then you have to calibrate. Overall, however, with the best you can currently buy for VR. I have not yet experienced Such a high Level of Quality for the Vive. (Oculus game with Revive are on the outside) In the End, however, it is also Natural Matter of taste whether such Puzzle Platformers can be extracted at all. At any rate, Even then in Childhood I was able to enjoy a Game called "Croc." :-D (HTC Vive + GearVR Lenses, 1080ti, 1950X ... At no Point did I find Reprojection (<90fps). Absolutely first Cream.)

Moss has an unusual style and a very beautiful world with a mysterious atmosphere. However, the puzzles are too simple and not challenging. Now it is just the first episode of the series, so the plot really raises more questions than it answers, so it is kinda frustrating, although I understand why the developers do that. Also, VR support seems pointless here and really doesn't add much to the game. All in all, it may be a good cute game for kids, but I am a bit disappointed.
My favorite PSVR game! Stunning visuals, ingenious puzzles, thought-out combat, adorable characters, everything is good in this game. I like that can interact with Quill, like highfiving her or petting. My only gripe is that it's too short for the price, but still this is an awesome game.
