About

Do you like stories? If so, then I’ll tell you one. But it won’t be just any old story. It’s going to be different, because it’s about real people, about events that are touching and horrifying even now. Let’s go back in time. It all began with a meeting between a boy and a girl who came from two different worlds. For a short time they had good laughs together, taking joy simply from each other’s company. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. War broke out – the Evil King plundered the city and his robot-soldiers appeared everywhere. Citizens were separated and some of them were marked and forced to move out of their homes and live in a place that was sealed off from the rest of the city by a huge wall. Fortunately the children were not alone – they had each other. Their friendship allowed them to stay together, even though fate seemed to try to tear them apart. That’s the story behind My Memory of Us, a game dedicated to those that were separated, but managed to find the strength to meet each other again. What makes My Memory of Us stand out is that the story is told from the perspective of two friends who complete each other. Each of them has their own abilities – she can run fast, he can sneak – but only when they work together as a team can they overcome all adversities. You just want to have fun with your friend. Go on then! Grab her hand and find out what adventures are waiting for you outside. Together, there’s nothing in the world that can stop you. Features: •A moving story about friendship and love in dangerous times •Beautiful, sketch-like graphics inspired by naïve art •Pair mechanics: take control of two characters with different skills and abilities, or control them as a pair •A grotesque tale mixed with bittersweet humor •The events shown in the game are based on actual stories from war •A dialogue system built around the language of symbolic pictures •Various logical puzzles in 2.5D •A story that offers deeper meaning, set in historical realities

My Memory of Us reviews and comments

Product received for free we are in the skin of a young girl, looking for a future book. One day, she finds her happiness, a beautiful red book. By going to see the seller, this one teaches us that it is not a simple book, and that the latter to a very special story. So here we go in the memories of the old man, who teaches us more about his story in a sad and gloomy period of the war against robots, in the company of his charming friend and explaining the trials by which they had to pass. So we follow this little story to the end to find out what they have become. My memories of us is a puzzle game in the form of cooperation. You will have to use the talents of the little girl who runs very quickly and who shoots at the Slingshot as a person, and the talents of the little boy, discreet, who can then sneak around and who knows how to play with light as a person, or use both in same time to come to grips with various puzzles, we always learn a little more about the story of our two inseparable friends, during this sad period. My memories of US is simply a sublime game, in a black and white universe, like a polar of the years 50, with a little touch of Red that sublimates this beautiful hand-drawn game. But unfortunately, the trailer had transcended us with its beautiful music, we wanted to shed our little tear. We expected to have a moving and incredible OST, but we did not have the chance to have such beautiful. But the atmosphere is heavy and sad, as expected, which takes guts. The game does not offer any real dialogue, we are more entitled to bizarre unrestrained hollering. But the narration in the cinematics, dubbed by the grandiose Patrick Stewart, is simply unbelievable. In addition to having the chance to be narrated by Professor Xavier (X-men) history to the right to a sublime writing, giving life to the game, and above all immersing us in this sad and dark world. The small downside of the game remains in the French subtitles not always translated, especially when a letter has an accent, they are replaced by symbols, which have nothing to do. To conclude, my memories of us is a wonderful story about this little boy and little girl, and the courage they have shown to assert their rights and freedom. With an average lifespan of 5 hours, you will easily be transported into this sublime and incredibly sad universe. We would have loved more sad music, but overall, this game is a success, and we do not regret to have waited so long before we can finally get hold of it. In fact, we will keep our goodies of the game, which we were able to receive at Gamescom. In remembrance of this endless expectation. Editor's Note: 8/10-a beautiful story, narrated to perfection.
