About
- Error in title; meant to be 'Ocha-ken no Yumebouken'. Will fix shortly.
'Ocha-ken no Yumebouken' (お茶犬の夢冒険) is a Japanese action-platformer game released for the Game Boy Advance on April 28th, 2005.
Based on a variety of different teas, it originated as a children's toy franchise by (J) SEGA Toys, but has since branched out among Nintendo gaming consoles.
The third representative of the toy franchise for the Game Boy Advance, it takes a different stance in comparison to its previous two titles where the prime focus was solely its virtual pet experience. Instead, the player must select one out of eleven potential tea pets to take on an adventure. Later on during the adventure, tea parts can be collected to create your own ocha-pet.
With your selected tea pet in tow, you're now fully kitted out to embark on your travels! As the idyllic seasons and sceneries change around you as you progress, the sky is the limit as you and your pet explore the island. Although make sure to tread carefully, as there are monsters about- gracefully jump on them to mitigate the threat. Chat with your fellow tea pets to receive minigames, that sometimes come with a collectible reward depending on how you performed! With so much to keep an eye out for, it does make you wonder whether the fun will ever end. It truly must be a dream island!
