OneShot reviews and comments
the game really plays with the 4th wall and actual game files similar to ddlc. the game itself, puzzles, storyline and characters were also really well designed. one of my favourites.

I really liked the protagonist. Very sympathetic. The story is unique, which does not happen very often.
The gameplay was pretty simple, just talking and solving puzzles. Some puzzles were original and fun to solve although they were pretty easy in general.
The graphics are OK, although I would've preferred the window to be a bit larger, even if the resolution would've been the same. Music is good, but for me not very memorable. Fits the game perfectly, though.
For some reason I felt nervous about dropping the lightbulb all the time. I hope I made the right choice...
«That ending!»
Might feel a bit slow, with only exploration and puzzle solving, lacking combat, but the ambient soundtrack, interesting characters, and well-built world are always by your side to accompany you.
This is something That I never experienced before !!!
Everyone should try it to the end

I really liked it because of the Protagonist and his cutenes and how he's reacting to things. The other caracters where pretty positive and nice but some weren't nice AND OR positve. That gave the game some variety. The riddles aren't hard but well overthought. The game is a 10/10, for me. It's short but beautiful.

A completely new Gaming Experience. I have never played a Game of this Kind before and I have to say it I liked it very much! Even if it was quite short, I can only encourage everyone to try it for themselves.
And yes, it plays in Window mode. Did I initially think "Why? Full-screen is more immersive!. " But I quickly realized that this is not true with OneShot. So listen to what the Game recommends to you;)

OneShot is a charming, small Pixel-style puzzle adventure that you can play through in all its Facets on two or Three Nights.
It thrives mainly on its dreamy world, the cute Characters (especially Protagonist Niko) and the atmophamic Artworks.
Add to that some Puzzles that you can find in the Form in very few Games and that you really wouldn't expect from an RPG maker game.
The Story of the chosen Hero who has to save the World is quite well known, but is told in an entertaining Way. And in particular, the free, recently released "Solstice" update gives the Game a lot more Depth once again, so you like to follow the Plot. It also gets a little more emotional.
The Biggest Negative Point of the Game for me in some Parts is the level design/Mapping. The Graphics themselves are quite nice to look at for pixel art, but some Areas, especially in the blue Initial Area, are somewhat confusing. That made getting off To Me a bit uncomfortable.
In other Places, too, there are certain Sections that seem a little stretched and unnecessarily slow down the Exploration of the Game world. A Little shorter Distances, or at least a little more Variety, would not have hurt.
However, we are coping with this.
I find The Soundtrack solid, though not really outstanding. One or two Songs have stuck in my Ear, the Rest is about average for an indie game. Therefore, I wouldn't spend an extra Buy recommendation on the Soundtrack, even if I bought the Bundle. Especially since in the game folder under "Audio" you can already find all the Pieces used in the game in the .Ogg format.
All in all, OneShot's Strengths make up for its Weaknesses, so I was quite well entertained while Playing. If you like cute Games, Cats, Puzzles and pixel art, I can recommend it. It doesn't cost much, doesn't take a lot of Time or Skills, and offers quite a few Moments you like to remember.
Well, I did a research. I tried to find something bad about this game but all reviews I read were good. One of them advised to stop reading reviews and finally play the game. And now I can say the same. Save your time, just go and try OneShot. It’s an amazing game in every aspect, it’s cheap (only 10 bucks) and it’s definitely worth this money.
