DESCRIPTION:
You land on a desert planet and find yourself in the company of a strange sassy character: the PhyloGenie. They make you go back in time and ask you to help them restore the once luxiriant biodiversity of their world by shaping the environment. Carve new oceans, continents and islands. Change the climate and watch as trees species evolve and adapt to form diverse ecosystems.
Have fun learning about ecology and evolution in this point-and-click simulation game created in 48h for the 2021 Scientific Game Jam. The PhyloGenie is here to help you understand (reluctantly, they have quite a temper...) how diversity is shaped by biogeographic events such as continental drift and climate change.
