Project Cars 2 is one of the best Simulation I've played jeh. Unfortunately, it also has some Weaknesses.
But in turn.
The Graphics and sound are just great and there is Project Cars 2 probably the prettiest Racing Game on the market at the Moment.
Especially when the rain suddenly sets in during the Race or a Storm rises really looks class.
If then on the Track still lie all the Puddles and then drive through there is like in real Aquaplaning.
There are a lot of Settings for the Vehicle Setup. You should also take advantage of this because the Default Settings are just getting up there whether you are playing with Steering Wheel or Gamepad and is not a good Setup for the Track.
The new Mechanic who is supposed to help one is quite nice, but he is not suitable as he hardly offers any Settings.
There are 29 different Modes in the Single-player Career. From the Karts to The End, the LMP1. In addition, there are also the Manufacturer's Races and many Challenges.
The Multiplayer Mode is annoying Right at the Beginning. There are a lot of Raudis. Or they issue the Penalties so generously that is only abbreviated and so the Races are won. Later, when you have risen in Rank, you will find Drivers who also drive Fair and not Ramming or Shortening. You just want to run a great Race fair Race.
The Punishment System in the Game is a little too strictly advised. Once upon a time you are being punished quite wrongly. Especially when an NPC or Player has driven one at the back (here apparently both Players will be punished) or if you get a little too far over the Side Strip. It is often the case that you catch a Penalty if you only get a few Centimeters over it on the Grass. In other Places, however, there is no Penance at all.
But there are also some Negative things to report. There are still sharp Framerate Collapses. Chidding when you start the Race and get into the Menu. If it is immediately Ruckelt helps just finish Racing and restart.
The AI can never actually decide whether to drive particularly well or badly. In one Race they race even if they are put on lightly, so about 40% Difficulty so well that you have no Chance to drive so badly in the next Race that it is boring again.
Rain and other Weather apparently have no Effect on AI. They then just drive a little slower. In heavy Mode, Weather no longer has an EInflux on them. Since You drive as if on seemed the same Lap times as if it were dry. Physics generally seems to have an impact only on the Player not on the AI.
Probably the most serious Game error in the Game is a Bug that has been around since Release and has already plagued the Players in Project Cars 1. It is the one that you always take the last Place in Qualyfing, even though the AI drove over the Track like Snails and you were actually on a good Front place. Some Players say you shouldn't jump to the End of Qualyfing yourself but who is waiting 40 Minutes when the Race lasts only 20 Minutes. Besides, that has no Effect. Because in the last Minute of Qualifying, the AI really gives gas again and then pretty absurd Lap times come out. Only if you are in the Race Menu, put out into the Main Menu and Difficulty, because with you still have a Chance to come forward from last Place.
Apart from that, the Game is great and the Racing Feeling comes across really well. Those who can set the Graphics high will be rewarded with probably the most beautiful Racing Game on the Market. The whole Setting Possibilities of the Vehicles are well implemented and with a bit Of Tinkering You improve your Lap times thanks to better Tunings. Or you can download the Setup from the best Players in the Community. Deciding if I can race in full or if I have less Time only 3-4 Laps is also a fair Thing.
On the Subject of VR, I can't say anything as I don't own VR glasses.
There's a Thumbs up from me, even if it still has its Quirks like that.
