Raw Data
About
Neo-Shinjuku - 2271. The massive and seemingly benevolent Eden Corporation owns the world. The elite hacker resistance movement SyndiK8 has unearthed the sinister reality behind Eden Corp’s newest line of robotic products. As one of SyndiK8’s elite operatives, your mission is straightforward: infiltrate Eden Tower, steal as much Raw Data as possible, and get out alive--bringing Eden Corp down in your wake.
However, as the secrets behind Chairman Shiro’s new “Promotion” program becomes clear, the reality gets much more complicated. Does it really grant immortality? What is Eden truly collecting? It seems that Eden’s corporate veneer may be just a thin facade for something much, much worse.
Built from the ground up for virtual reality, Raw Data’s action combat gameplay, intuitive controls, challenging enemies, and sci-fi atmosphere will completely immerse you within the surreal environments of Eden Corp. Go solo—or team up with a friend—and become the adrenaline-charged heroes of your own futuristic technothriller. You will put your wits, boldness, and endurance to the test.
Active VR gameplay turns you into a controller, with instant reflex access to an arsenal of advanced weapons and cutting-edge nanotech powers. Shared spaces with avatars and motion tracking encourage players to physically communicate through body language and environment interaction.

Early Access Review RAW DATA ONE of the most anticipated HTC Vive Games. Now it has finally been released as an Early Access Version. Can Raw Data keep what the Videos promised?
I would like to stress once again that this is an Early Access Version and that you can only judge the current Moment. Bugs and Errors MAY be available DÜRFEN. However, These should be fixed in the Course of Early Access.
Let's start with the negative Thing:-Bad Performance It hardly Matters what attitudes you make. As soon as any particle effects appear on the Screen, the FPS inexplicably collapses. The built-in Hardware doesn't Matter. At the Time Of the Review, I had an i7-6700K CPU.32GB DDR4 and a GTX 980TI OC. The FPS breaks down from constant 90FPS on simple Shots to 80FPS. No matter if you use Medium or Epic Graphics setting. Only on the lowest Settings are it stable 90FPS.
-poor Graphics setting, Art Design and Level Design convince. The Edge Flimmer and bad AA, on the other hand, do not convince. AA only makes the Image blurry and only helps to a limited extent against the Edge Flimmer. The Resolution Multiplier helps, but with my Hardware you can only reach 40-50 FPS. Thus unplayable in VR.
-Little Content With current Content, you can reach about 5 Hours of Play. With Friends you will certainly try one or the other Level again several times, but at the moment it remains too little. However, The Outlook for the Roadmap and upcoming Content can be convincing. In the current Version there are 2 Heroes, 4 Cards and an extensive Tutorial.
That is my Criticism, which should be kept in Mind at the moment. Although Bugs and Glitches are still present everywhere, they are of little importance. (Ai dropout, non-switchable VOIP)
Let's move on to the postive aspects of Raw Data: + fast and action-packed Gameplay The Implementation of game Mechanics is excellent. The Difficulty is steadily increasing with the priority of the Levels and should also scare the one or the other VR talent a little bit over the Playing field. Aim and beat works smoothly and is well captured. These can cause Motion Sickness In Newcomers.
+ Heroes and Skills There are currently only 2 Heroes (2 more are expected to follow soon), but there should be something for everyone. Cosy from afar To shoot robots apart, or go into close Feeling With the Katana. Skills are well thought out and are a great fit for the Heroes.
+ No Techdemo Raw Data is thankfully not like most HTC Vive Games a Tech Demo, but an almost complete Game. The Outlook on the upcoming Content turns Raw Data into the TOP 5 Of my HTC Vive games. I haven't played another HTC Vive Game at a time in Such a short Space of time.
FAZIT Anyone who can get excited about Dual Pistols, Katanas, or Christian Bale in Equilibrium should take care of them. For a Price of just under €30€, you get a game that works well in itself.
