Rookie (messiar)

 

Rookie is a new adventurer striving for fame and treasures. But that is easier said than done. In order to prove himself to the adventurers' guild, he takes on increasingly difficult assignments. Until one day he is given the honor of being one of the first to explore a new dungeon.

 Rookie is a 2D-Puzzle-Jump'n'Run game about exploration and making it through varieties of traps on the way to the goal. In order to achieve the next lvl the player have to pickup a fixed amount of pickups. 

Features

 • A 32-bit Pixel Art Game inspired by classics like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Blood Stained: Ritual of the Night and Blasphemous;

 • A handcrafted world to explore.

 • Tackle the dungeon filled with traps and make it to the end;

 • Playthrough length estimate: roughly 20 - 30 min.

Controls Keyboard

Press:

 • A/D or  ←/→ arrow keys to move left and right;

 • Space to jump;

 • W/S keys to look Up or Down.

Press:

 • D-Pad or Left Stick to move left and right;

 • Button South to Jump;

 • D-Pad/Left Stick to Look Up and Down.
