Plot In the Particle Zoo, chaos has broken Out. And not only the theoretical Chaos, it would have been dealt with. No, the absolute Chaos. Someone freed all The Zoo's elementary Particles at once, and now they're running Amok. And not only that; Someone has entered the Nucleus where the most dangerous Particle of all is being held. Now only Schrödinger'S Cat can save the Situation ... Gameplay Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark plays like a Kind of puzzle platformer. One runs and jumps through the Area to recapture the roaming particles and look for a Way to get into the Nucleus. The special Mechanics here are the Quarks. Those are generously scattered throughout the Area and are used in Tripartite Combinations to activate special Abilities, such As Generating a Shield or a Trap for Gluons. The Level Design here is rather average. Many Areas are a bit too unspectacular for my Liking, and still others resemble each other far too much, making the Game a little monotonous every now and then. Atmosphere Both visually and acoustically, the Game is reminiscent of a cheerful cartoon world. The Characters and Environments are depicted in bold, colorful Colors. Musically, generic, not really memorable songs are played. The Speakers deliver good Work, in my Opinion, and credibly reproduce the Characters. What I Think puts a Crown on the Game, though, is the Humour. If the Title hasn't already hinted at it: Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark brims with Puns and Allusions to Quantum Mechanics, which have also become elements in Gameplay. And the most important thing about it: It never seems set up or forced, but seems to come naturally. However, one should be powerful here for the full Pleasure of English, since by its very nature not all Jokes can be transferred into German without loss. Verdict/TL; DR Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark is a genre-typical puzzle platformer with an original Twist. The casual Plot and easygoing Atmosphere-evoked by the colorful Optics and Humour-make the Game an easily digestible Experience that, while not a Must, is still worth its Money.
