Seed O.Shiki

Seed O.Shiki is a Rogue-Like Puzzle game where you solve puzzles in randomly generated rooms to gather power ups. These upgrades will help you venture further intro the cave and face more difficult challenges.

When entering a room, you must solve a puzzle by planting seeds inside a grid. You must respect the rules:

- The same amount of seeds can't be present on the same row or column.
- Be mindul of the inequalities, some spots must have more seeds than the spot they are pointing towards.

As long as these two rules are respected, you will you be rewarded with awesome items such as "Dad's Cuisine" or the tasy "Choco Cream".

But be careful, you don't have much time to think and will be punished for your mistakes. Don't worry, if you fail you can just try again and get better and smarter !

WASD / Arrow Keys : Player movement

L : Plant seeds

K : Retrieve seeds

E : Increase seed number

Q : Decrease seed number

Additional information

This game was made in one weekend for the Mix and Game Jam in November 2020 on the theme "Mixing Genres".  The team was composed of Menthalo and myself. We decided to mix a Rogue Like with a Puzzle game.  You stroll through a randomly generated cave where in order to progress, you will have to solve a grid of Futoshiki (puzzle game similar to the Sudoku) by planting the correct amount of seeds in each cell of the grid. Every room has its own grid that you should solve.  Completing a room will grant you with some valuable rewards which will come handy when progressing in the cave.
