The Outer Worlds 2 reviews and comments

Honestly, The Outer Worlds 2 grabbed me right away and barely let go. It's Obsidian at their best: sharp choices that make you shout "why did I even pick that?!" and combat that finally feels weighty and satisfying. What impressed me most is the reactivity. One awkward dialogue option and suddenly a faction turns hostile, a planet goes up in flames, and you're left wondering how things escalated so fast. Builds are genuinely fun to experiment with, the corporate satire hits exactly where it should (hello 2025), and the retro-futuristic vibe gives off strong New Vegas-in-space energy. Sure, the opening drags a bit and some exploration areas feel empty, but once the game finds its rhythm, it's surprisingly addictive. Compared to the first game, this sequel is bigger, meaner, and far more polished, perfect if you're in the mood to replay it as a charismatic villain.
