The Spatials: Galactology
About
Weird and Wry is a Barcelona game development studio founded in 2014 by two brothers: Carlos and Max Carrasco. Carlos (a programmer) and Max (an artist) share a love for simulation games and classic play -- which heavily influenced The Spatials, their first project. Inspired by the great classic sim games of the '90s, The Spatials combined classic base-building gameplay (based on isometric tile room building) with a real-time combat system and an exploration campaign. The Spatials was released on Steam in March 2015 and took off! Thanks to its success and growing fan base, The Spatials spawned a sequel -- The Spatials: Galactology, which updates the original concept with deeper gameplay and a whole new take on the space station management business.

Product received for free early access review to book to fans of management/RPG.
Always in the universe of "spatials" you are this time in charge of developing your Empire from scratch. The management of resources, the construction of your station, are revisited. The news for the moment consists of managing spaceships with their crews (and frankly it's a great idea). Another novelty you can and must build on the planets that you will explore in order to exploit the resources.
I'm very interested in management games and even more RPG, I'm really seduced by this revival. I'm looking forward to the update.
Very good game in perspective...

Early access review [en] it is not in my habit to comment on the games only after a few hours of gameplay but I tell myself that this game has a lot of potential. For an early access there are many mechanics implemented and for a management/strategy it is important. After the mechanisms are not yet completed but if they are finished correctly this game would be just excellent. We also have a good mix of basic management, exploration, colonization and all the strategic and military aspects.
At the moment what is most lacking in the game is the hype. And it's a pity that there is no more craze for this game.
Maybe the workshop can be the basis of a growing community that knows.
And a message for the devs: thank you and good luck for the sequel!

Early access review Hello everyone, to begin I thank the dev who offered this game to those who had buy the v1 and must confess that nowadays c is not at all common because there or other we come out of the DLC paying them we melts a game , what to say... a killing.. CA game..
Nothing to do with the other if not the graphics...
The concept is much more interesting, we build our base, we explore and build Extrator to recover resources, after, we send in automatic or not if we want 1 ship load to do the continuous Trad between our base and the planets that have a Extractor to recover and route resources..
We explore the Galaxy, the planets, get attacked at our base, then we embark on the assault of the enemy planets... Here is a summarize of the game, jespere that combat between ships will arrive, as well as new civilization and that we know them not of the game but that we will discover them by exploring and finally choose us even if it is enemies, neutral , or alliers...
This game is open to mod and we will soon discover some friendly mods...
I advise those who like basic management, Empire creation and Galactic domination... Mmouahhh
