About

Thief 3: Deadly Shadows is a stealth-action game developed by Ion Storm Inc. It is the third installment in the Thief franchise. The game is set in a Steampunk world that resembles both the middle ages and the Victorian era. Besides that, there are several fantasy elements in the game. The thief named Garett is a member of the thief guild. He receives a letter in which the guild invites him to listen out the new prophecy. In order to be let in the palace where the prophecy will be unraveled, Garett has to steal two sacred relics. His new adventure begins. The game can be played both from first-person and third-person perspective. The player may steal from innocents and avoid, distract, knock out or kill guards. Loot and weapons are picked up just by standing close enough to them. Locked areas can be unlocked using a lock-picking minigame. The player has to stick to the shadows during the missions, as running or walking will alert the guards who will come looking for Garett. The levels are fairly open-ended and have different paths for the player to choose from. After completing each mission, the player is free to explore the City for loot. City areas unlock as the game goes on.

Nice Game with claim in things stealth find it especially great that you have to sell your loot yourself to the respective hehler in order to get money the striped through the city is usually worthwhile

Shalesbridge cradle: the best solo map ever created. Well, you have to go through a game that breaks up with the tradition of the first 2 episodes, but once you get to Shalesbridge cradle the unique experience is the reward. A game whose ambition has still not been equated.

A splinter cell from the middle ages! In difficult mode the challenge is really present, and you can pick it up again if you choose not to kill anyone. In short, very good atmosphere (at the Arx Fatalis), sumptuous decorations (with textures patches), and simple but effective gameplay. Very good game:)

The best stealth FPS I've seen so far. On a Par with its Predecessors from the Gameplay, the gloomy atmosphere is almost perfected In the Penultimate Level of the Game. Only the Difficulty is likely to be higher, in the first two Parts of the Series one was not allowed to kill any Man at all at the highest Difficulty level ... What would add a Challenge to this Game. Overall, though, a great Game. Rating: 9/10

Even though the graphics are more beautiful than the previous two Opus, the size of the levels has been greatly reduced due to the limited capabilities of the consoles. The gameplay takes up almost the same ideas even if some actions are different (in previous games, you could keep the Club armed by leaving the finger pressed the left button of the mouse, otherwise one can no longer, a click = a shot). I recommend it all the same because it clot the adventures of Garrett and it is not that bad. Note that this is the only game in the series that has not been doubled in French.

I can't understand the positive Reviews. For all the Love for the Series, the Game is the Worst in line. Even Thief 4 is better. Except for the cut scenes and the Speaker, I can't report anything positive. It is budged without ending and full of bad design decisions. The head Rate In the lower Difficulty levels alone is laughable. The game requires Garrett to kill at least 4 People?! I read this over first and had to run back at the End And Unlucky to allow me to finish the Mission. Not the Garrett I know. I can only recommend the Game to real Fans and then best with SneakyTweaker Patch and co. That fixes at least the grossest Problem. I will finish playing it, but I can't recommend it. If I wanted to get someone excited about the Series, I'd take Thief 2 the Metal Age. Some Advertising at the End. Plays "the DarkMod." "The DarkMod" is what Thief 3 should have been.
