Together At Last

"Together At Last (2023)" is a university project from the first semester of the course "Computer Science: Games Engineering" at the Technical University of Munich.

It was developed by "Favorite Games":

• Werner Richter
• Raphael Frank

The game was developed using the Unity Engine (2021.3.16f1). It's a multiplayer platformer where two players, one as a fire blob and one as a water blob, must overcome various challenges in 4 different levels by working together using their abilities. The goal is to touch your partner at the end of the level and be reunited with them!

The 4 levels each have their own unique themes and mechanics. They vary in difficulty so that each player can find the right level for them.

Both controller and keyboard controls are supported, but the controller controls are strongly recommended!

To play together, a LAN connection must be established between the two players (or port forwarding must be set up). Both the host and client must then set the network settings (IP address and port) in the settings, and can then connect.

Alternatively, you can also start the game by holding down the space bar or the A-Button (South) to play alone.  However, the levels are only completeable in multiplayer, so this is only intended for testing!

• Look around - Mouse/Right Stick
• Move - WASD/Left Stick
• Jump - Space bar/A-Button (South)
• Sprint - LShift/Rear Left Trigger
• Interact - E/X-Button (West)
