About

Trapped Dead is a tactical real time strategy game in the tradition of classics such as "Commandos" and "Desperados". You and your friends control your characters in a 3rd person isometric view through a mature Zombie survival scenario inspired by the successful horror films of the early '80s. A co-op mode for up to 4 players is included as well.
The story takes place in the early 80s in a small town names Hedge Hill near Kansas City, Missouri. The sowing of a new genetically modified type of corn caused the existence of a new virus which mutated through the natural food chain. A dog bite of an infected animal caused a local outbreak of the virus which rapidly infected the inhabitants of the idyllic provincial town. Mike and Gerald, two college boys, are thrown into the middle of a terrifying horror scenario. Having pulled over to a gas station near Hedge Hill during what was meant to be an enjoyable road trip, they are unaware of the virus which has already reached the gas station and its staff…

Trapped Dead reviews and comments

Must write my Frustration with the Soul after trying 2 Hours to create a Level. Unfortunately, the Game gives away a lot of Potential and has some annoying Idiosyncrasies that can make you insane. If you Assign a Melee weapon to a Character and order him to attack or then watch zombies, he often simply reacts too late, although he still has movement energy, is bitten and all The Zombies run towards one afterwards. After that, you have to reload because you don't have a Chance anymore. If you have clicked somewhere in front of a small Cutscene and the Character moves in one Direction, he continues to do so happily even during the Cutscene without being able to control it further. He is attacked and killed by Zombies. Exactly: Newcomers etc. Too bad, because actually a idea and also partially well implemented, part 2 Has not played yet, hope they have weeded out such things, then it would be a Game.

This is the most frustrating Game of my Life!!! I mean real People, I've already played some Games that have queried all my skills, strained my Head to the Point of glow, or driven me into an insane Ambition. BUT: This Game has ABSOLUT NOTHING TO do with Strategy, but with Luck!!! Lucky that the Game Mechanics after the eighty-seventh Attempt do not scare again in exactly the same Place, or the After that or the DAnach, finally works as it was probably intended by the Game Developers! I'm not even sure if you ever wanted anything to work here the way it should! I mean, if I'm constantly decching because I just can't, then that's just the way it is. But When I give my Character the Command "ANGREIFEN" and instead Spins Them Olympic-ready Pirouettes AROUND my other Characters, IS THE ONLY SCHEIßE!!!!!! I could see beyond that if there was a reasonable Way to group my Companions, To issue Autoattack Commands to be able to select them at least in a pleasant Way individually, ALL THE GIBT IT HERE NOT! AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH! Instead, I constantly fumble with an annoying Right-click selection, Left-click command issues system between my Companions, who, like on Poppers permanently, put each other on the Pelle, hoping to hit the Right one with a bit of Luck. Then I Give him the Order to go to X, only to see him wedge himself completely disoriented between his Comrades-in-arms! I can, of course, make it easier for myself and use the "practical" Fast buttons of my Companions F1-F4. F1-F4? WTF is not really Head-up with you guys? O.o By the way, this Command pretty much ends the fast taying function of the Game ...-.-People quite honestly, please don't buy this Game. It would really be a nice Game if the Mechanics worked, but this Department seems to have been neglected or with a Neneuhochtonese-speaking Foreman and 2 Kindergarten children as Subordinates to South Polinesia Outsourced. Finally, to me and this Game: I haven't finished it at the Time, BUT: I'm only 10th level in the 8th Of Thankfully and it won't be the first Game I don't finish!!!!!
