Defense Grid 2 reviews and comments

Translated by

So, here's a completely revised, up-to-date review, based on 100% completed Achievements and 50 + hours of Gameplay: At first I had fretted about all the countless innovations and massive number of Playable Maps and Variants. In Principle, not much has changed to this day. It's badly exaggerated and only for Nerds of Interest. You will never be able to play through all this and you will want to. At some Point it gets boring and the Scope is just crushing from the Start. Nevertheless, the Game offers a lot of Good and is absolutely a top game. The Campaign itself is very nice, not overly long, and the simplest Level of difficulty should also make Beginners happy. Here is my Evaluation and Short Performance of the Pros and Cons: + Sizable Graphics + partially changeable landscapes ...-... However, too little is needed/applied + different Aliens require special Tactics ...-... What makes you use the Back Coil button very often + new Tower Sets give new Skills + nice Fun campaign ...-... Unfortunately, a bit dryly presented. The Story is almost Rubbish and seems rather stupid until the Enlightenment. + several unplayable Improvements for each of the 10 Towers ...-... You get far too rarely. After 37 Hours I only had one (= Steam badge) for each Tower! + several new Consultants can provide the Orbitallaser with a different Special Capability ...-... In the End, however, I always used the Laser + multiplayer mode is Fun in the short term ...-... However, I found almost no one to Play + in the Game is shown in Real time a points comparison to a Friend ...-... With me it was often the Wrong one (big Difference in points) or none at all, even though someone had already played this Card. Game Score: 8/10 Points The many minor Flaws or Inconveniences can be well fobbed up in the Game and are actually High level criticism. Because of the many Innovations, you definitely need a little Training time before you have figured out the right strategies and Tactics. Then the fun of the Game, which is known from Part 1, finally comes up. If you want to collect Gold Medalies from the 2nd of 4 Difficulty levels, I think you will have to click the Back-turn button far too often, because the Game punishes every little Mistake immediately. If the Thousand Game Combinations after Playing through the Campaigns are too much, It will stop. Friends of a 100% Score, however, will probably have to play until their Pension before all this is really played through in Gold. So, I'm now making myself off. After some Acclimatization, it was still a lot of Fun. And anyone who likes Tower Defense, it should definitely have played!
